Eui-ju tries to find Woo-su’s eyeglasses after she learns that they are special in Absolute Value of Romance episode 4.
On April 17, Absolute Value of Romance episode 4 premiered on Coupang Play and Prime Video. The episode features Eui-ju finding Woo-su’s eyeglasses. She learns that they are specially made for him, so she feels guilty. Eui-ju apologizes to Woo-su and faces the consequences of what she did.

Eui-ju Looks for Woo-su’s Eyeglasses in Absolute Value of Romance in Episode 4
Eui-ju heads to the library at the start of Absolute Value of Romance episode 4. On the way, she talks to Dong-ju about her problems with Woo-su. However, Dong-ju defends him. Frustrated, Eui-ju decides to channel her anger into her writing.
Furthermore, she writes a scene where Gi-jeon’s character punches Woo-su’s character twice. She finishes the chapter and publishes it online before going to bed.
Meanwhile, Woo-su takes medication at dinner as his discomfort worsens. Dong-ju informs Gi-jeon that Woo-su’s glasses are custom-made and will take time to replace. Back in his room, Woo-su tries to work, but he cannot focus.
The next morning, the teachers find him vomiting. He admits he cannot go to school. At class, Eui-ju learns about Woo-su’s condition. She immediately blames herself for taking his glasses. Later, she overhears Ha-su speaking with him and realizes how much he is struggling.
After school, Eui-ju sees Gi-jeon and Dong-ju searching for the glasses. She realizes her mistake. Moreover, she rushes to the trash area to find them. She spots a garbage truck leaving. She grabs a bicycle and chases after it.
Eui-ju Apologizes to Woo-su
Eui-ju stops the garbage truck and begs the worker to let her search through the trash. Furthermore, she cries as she digs through the waste. Eventually, she finds Woo-su’s glasses and takes them back.
That night, she asks Eui-do to return the glasses to Woo-su. Woo-su recognizes Eui-do and quickly learns the truth. He scolds Eui-ju for lying. She apologizes while crying.
Woo-su forgives her, but he sets conditions. He tells her to repay the cost of the glasses. He also gives her a daily to-do list and assigns extra math classes. Meanwhile, Eui-ju returns home still shaken by the incident.
Later that night, she logs into her BL story platform. She discovers her story has gone viral. She feels shocked by the surge in likes and comments. Moreover, the attention motivates her to keep writing.
She writes a new chapter where Dong-ju’s character pushes Gi-jeon’s character. She also adds Woo-su’s line about repayment. In addition, she builds a romantic tension between the characters. Episode 4 ends with Eui-ju continuing her story.
Episode 4 of Absolute Value of Romance still feels like a breath of fresh air in K-drama because of its playful cinema. This time, we see how soft Eui-ju is. She takes accountability for what she did and faces the consequences. However, she still feels remorse toward Woo-su and his unreasonable actions.
