Under disco lights at noon, Tilly Birds shares an intimate acoustic jam with Filipino fans during their much-awaited Manila return.
After standing out as one of the biggest acts at Round Festival 2026 in Manila the night before, Thai rock band Tilly Birds returned with an acoustic set at Nokal, Makati City for their I’ll Remember To Forget You: Through Layered Walls tour stop in Manila.
Held at noon, the band transformed the nightclub into a safe and intimate space. Filipino fans then spent the time jamming with them under the disco lights.

According to Tilly Birds, they initially wrote songs in English, with “I’ll Remember to Forget You” coming first. However, they held onto it for years before releasing it. They later chose it as the title of their first full-length English album.
Meanwhile, Third shared the idea behind the album cover. He described it as a feeling of sinking, where music slowly wraps around you. As you go deeper, you begin to drown in memories and revisit moments you still long for.
In line with this theme, the band carried the story into their setlist. They performed “Retro-39” and “Never A Waste of Time,” exploring love, longing, loss, and everything in between. Meanwhile, one of the fan-favorite tracks, “Same Page,” created a warm and lively moment, as Filipino fans sang along in unison.

Third, the band’s vocalist encouraged the crowd to sing along even more. He asked fans to take the intro of “Our Happy Place,” which made the trio laugh at their energy. After that, they continued strumming their guitars and gave fans a first acoustic performance of “Heaven,” their collaboration with Filipino folk-pop act Ben&Ben.
Tilly Birds then closed the set with another fan favorite, “Just Being Friendly.” The band jammed, sang, and jumped along with the crowd.
After the performance, fans surprised the group with a cake to celebrate the release of their latest album. Finally, the event ended with a meet-and-greet moment Fans got their albums, posters, and postcards signed before heading back above ground under the afternoon sun.
Overall, Tilly Birds’ I’ll Remember To Forget You: Through Layered Walls in Manila marked an intimate and long-awaited return for their Filipino fans.
