On April 17, Absolute Value of Romance episode 3 premiered on Coupang Play and Prime Video. The episode focuses on Eui-ju and her frustrations with Woo-su’s actions toward her. At first, she plans to fix Woo-su’s eyeglasses, but she eventually throws them away because she feels he is being unreasonable.

Eui-ju Lied About the Glasses in Absolute Value of Romance Episode 3
Eui-ju leaves for school at the start of Absolute Value of Romance episode 3. On her way to the bus stop, she spots Woo-su ahead of her. She feels annoyed and follows him anyway. Suddenly, a pigeon poops on Woo-su’s head. He trips in shock, then he throws his glasses into nearby bushes.
Woo-su loses consciousness. Eui-ju helps him up. She quickly realizes he cannot see without his glasses. She searches the bushes but accidentally steps on them and breaks them. Instead of telling the truth, she hides the broken glasses in her bag.
Woo-su asks her to call Dong-ju to bring his spare pair. Meanwhile, Gi-jeon and Da-ju arrive with Dong-ju to help search. They fail to find the glasses. Woo-su then uses an old spare pair and leaves with the group.
As they prepare to go, they notice Eui-ju still there. They offer her a ride to school. She agrees but panics about being seen. Furthermore, she hides in the back seat. Woo-su throws his jacket over her face as students chase the car.
At the school gate, Woo-su, Da-ju, and Dong-ju step out. Students crowd around them. Elsewhere, Gi-jeon parks the car and leaves it unlocked. Eui-ju tries to slip away. However, Woo-su returns for his jacket and catches her. He questions her about the glasses and warns her not to lie again.
Later in class, Woo-su introduces a new exchange student, Jennie from Singapore. He seats her next to Ji-a. After he leaves, the students welcome Jennie and help her adjust. She explains that she mistakenly enrolled in the Jeonju branch instead of Seoul. Meanwhile, Eui-ju notices Woo-su struggling with his glasses.
Eui-ju’s Frustration
Eui-ju tries to fix Woo-su’s broken glasses. Later, she considers returning them. In Japanese class, Da-ju catches her writing the math essay. He takes her to the staff room. Woo-su then makes her read the essay aloud. He also gives her two demerit points.
Next, Woo-su assigns her to monitor Ji-a’s attendance. He warns her that she will get punished if Ji-a misses assembly. Back in class, her friends feel she gets treated unfairly. They try to fake her illness, but Woo-su quickly sees through the act.
Meanwhile, Eui-ju escapes into her BL imagination. She vents her frustration through Woo-su’s character. Furthermore, she decides to take revenge through her writing. At lunch, the students talk about Jennie’s love life.
Elsewhere, Woo-su uses eye drops to relieve his irritated eyes. In the staff room, Eui-ju collects a track form from Gi-jeon. She notices Woo-su’s discomfort. After school, she tries to stop Ji-a from leaving. However, she fails. Woo-su still gives her demerit points despite her effort. Finally, Eui-ju loses her temper. She throws Woo-su’s glasses into the trash because of her frustration.
Episode 3 of Absolute Value of Romance focuses on Eui-ju and Woo-su’s unlikely relationship. Ever since their initial conflict, they seem unable to get along. As a result, Eui-ju grows frustrated with Woo-su, as she feels he is being unreasonable.
