Woo-su Asked Eui-ju to Delete the Novel in Absolute Value of Romance Episode 6
Absolute Value of Romance episode 6 picks up right where things left off. Woo-su reads a chapter from Eui-ju’s novel. Eui-ju immediately denies writing it, but Woo-su does not buy her excuse.
He connects the dots fast. The four main characters clearly mirror the new teachers. Furthermore, he notices that their dialogue comes straight from his own conversations with Eui-ju. Woo-su demands that she delete the story. Eui-ju resists. She pleads with him instead and asks to keep writing.
Woo-su lets her break down for a moment. Later, he shifts the situation. He tells her to call her parents and report to school with them. He then sends her home and postpones the discussion to the next day. That night, Eui-ju skips dinner. She stays alone with her thoughts. She worries about the consequences. Moreover, she imagines what will happen if her friends and parents find out.
Elsewhere, Woo-su cannot stop thinking about the novel. It unsettles him. He starts misreading normal interactions between Gi-jeon and Dong-ju as something romantic. In addition, his anxiety grows. He goes to his room and tells the boys to keep their distance from each other.
Woo-su’s Wants to be the Lead Character
Woo-su searches for the meaning of “BL” and studies the romance genre. He tries to understand the structure behind Eui-ju’s writing. Furthermore, he breaks down her novel and links each character to real people, including himself.
He takes notes based on personality traits. However, he grows frustrated. He realizes that she cast him as a secondary character. To add insult, she portrays him in a negative light.

The next day, Woo-su calls Eui-ju in for a counseling session. He confronts her about the web novel. Eui-ju explains herself in detail. She shares her passion for writing and how she began creating BL web novels. Moreover, she admits that she wants to keep writing.
Woo-su responds honestly. He says he feels disappointed by the story. Eui-ju feels embarrassed after realizing she used real teachers as characters. However, Woo-su focuses on a different issue. He feels more offended by his role in the story than the concept itself and refuses to stay as the background character.
He then sets a condition and tells Eui-ju to rewrite the novel with him as the hero if she wants to continue. In addition, he gives her a choice: delete the story or change his role. Eui-ju hesitates, then agrees reluctantly. She chooses to rewrite the novel.
Episode 4 of Eui-ju’s Novel
The principal calls the four new teachers in for a meeting. She instructs them to join an upcoming school documentary. Furthermore, she expects full cooperation.
Da-ju, Dong-ju, and Gi-jeon agree immediately. However, Woo-su refuses to participate. The principal reacts with frustration. Da-ju steps in and promises to convince Woo-su later.
Back at the house, the trio worries about their jobs. They discuss different ways to change Woo-su’s mind. Later, Da-ju tries to persuade him directly. Woo-su does not budge. Instead, he focuses on Eui-ju’s web novel. He reads the comments and waits for her next chapter draft.

The next day, Woo-su confronts Eui-ju again. He asks about the new episode. Moreover, he pressures her to publish it quickly. He follows her throughout the day. Eui-ju keeps avoiding him. After math class, Woo-su scolds her about the story. Her friends notice the tension and grow concerned.
Later, Eui-ju finishes the new chapter. She hands it to Woo-su for review. He critiques it harshly. Furthermore, he demands changes to his character. He gives her one hour. He insists she rewrite him as the protagonist.
In her imagination, Dong-ju and Gi-jeon’s characters confront her. They blame her for ruining the story as the author. That night, Woo-su reads the revised draft again. However, Eui-ju secretly counters him. She uploads her original version instead. The episode ends with her quiet rebellion.
Episode 6 of Absolute Value of Romance shows how Eui-ju truly values her love and passion for writing. Woo-su, on the other hand, is quite a question mark in this episode. One moment, he is arrogant. Then, he appears empathetic. At times, he also acts like a narcissistic man. He is really a handful in this episode.
