Eui-ju deals with her feelings after seeing Woo-su with another woman and realizes she likes Woo-su in Absolute Value of Romance episode 10.
On May 8, Absolute Value of Romance episode 10 aired on Coupang Play and Prime Video. The episode features Eui-ju meeting Deul-i, a friend of Woo-su. She feels jealous after meeting her and soon realizes that she definitely likes Woo-su. However, she learns something that shakes her.

Eui-ju Realizes Her Feelings in Absolute Value of Romance Episode 10
Absolute Value of Romance episode 10 opens with Eui-ju spotting Woo-su with another woman at the café. Jealousy immediately hits her as she watches their cheerful conversation. Moreover, she notices Woo-su smiling shyly around the woman, which only makes her more curious.
At the same time, E-den arrives and recognizes the woman instantly. She is Professor Nah Deul-i, a Princeton mathematician and Fields Prize winner. In addition, she once competed alongside Woo-su during their Olympiad days.
Eui-ju overhears parts of their conversation. However, Woo-su quickly steps in and pulls Deul-i away from the situation. Later, Eui-ju follows them and introduces herself to Deul-i. Before leaving, Woo-su drops Deul-i off and promises to keep in touch with her.
On the walk home, Eui-ju continues following Woo-su. She starts asking questions about Deul-i and clearly tries to figure out whether the two share a romantic relationship.
Woo-su catches onto her curiosity right away. Instead of answering, he shuts down her questions. Furthermore, he warns her that he will contact her parents if she fails to score at least 50 on the upcoming Math test.
Elsewhere, Eui-ju buys a soft drink for her younger brother while complaining about Woo-su’s constant blackmail over her BL novels. Their conversation soon takes a more personal turn. Woo-su asks why she cares so deeply about becoming a writer. Eui-ju answers honestly. She explains that she wants her life to have meaning. Moreover, she refuses to give up on her dream of becoming an author.
Woo-su Saves Ji-a from Expulsion
Eui-ju asks Woo-su to continue explaining why he chose to become a teacher. Woo-su pauses and stares at her for a moment. However, he suddenly grows uneasy and quickly heads home instead of answering.
Back at the teachers’ house, Gi-jeon, Da-ju, and Dong-ju talk about Woo-su’s connection with Na Deul-i. Furthermore, Da-ju and Gi-jeon start speculating about whether the two ever shared romantic feelings.
That night, Eui-ju works on another chapter of her novel. This time, she introduces Deul-i as a new character. In her story, Deul-i kidnaps Dong-ju’s character. Soon after, Woo-su’s character arrives and saves him.
However, Eui-ju’s imagination shifts again. Instead of picturing Dong-ju being rescued, she imagines herself in his place. Woo-su becomes the one saving her, and the fantasy leaves her flustered and excited.
The next day, Ji-a arrives late to class. Woo-su immediately notices bruises on her hands. In addition, alcohol lingers on her clothes. He quietly asks someone to take her to the medical room while pretending not to notice the smell.
Before she gets there, Ji-a runs into E-den. He quickly escorts her to Principal Young-hee’s office instead. Together, E-den and the principal confront Woo-su about Ji-a’s behavior and repeated tardiness. Woo-su refuses to back down. He defends Ji-a and asks the principal to let her stay in school.
However, Young-hee remains firm. Despite Woo-su’s protests, she pushes forward with suspending Ji-a. As E-den leaves the office, he casually mentions Na Deul-i’s name. The comment visibly unsettles Young-hee. She suddenly realizes she has been openly clashing with a teacher connected to a Fields Prize-winning mathematician.
Eui-ju Discovers Something About Woo-su
Later, Woo-su confronts Ji-a about her behavior. He orders her to write an apology letter. However, instead of giving up on her, he offers another chance. Furthermore, he warns her to be more careful moving forward. Meanwhile, the tension between Eui-ju and Go-ya continues to grow. Go-ya keeps her distance and ignores every attempt Eui-ju makes to fix their friendship.
Around the same time, Eui-ju hears about Woo-su defending Ji-a at school. The story changes the way she sees him once again. In addition, her friends encourage her to reconcile with Go-ya before their conflict becomes worse.
That night, Woo-su reflects on Na Deul-i’s research proposal. He replays their conversation in his mind and struggles with the decision. Later, he steps outside for a walk.
Dong-ju joins him along the way. During their conversation, Dong-ju brings up Woo-su’s worsening eyesight and quietly worries about his condition. Elsewhere, Eui-ju heads out to buy a cold drink for her brother. While outside, she spots Woo-su and Dong-ju walking together. Curious, she secretly follows them.
As she listens from a distance, Eui-ju overhears Dong-ju encouraging Woo-su to accept Deul-i’s research offer and move to America. The words immediately shake her. The episode ends with Eui-ju confronting Woo-su and asking him if he is really planning to leave.
Episode 10 of Absolute Value of Romance focuses more on Eui-ju and her feelings for Woo-su. Once she realizes them, she constantly daydreams about Woo-su saving or protecting her. In the coming episodes, will she be able to confess her feelings?
