Woo-su happens to be Eui-ju’s math teacher in Absolute Value of Romance episode 2, where she ends up writing a 20-page essay.
On April 17, Absolute Value of Romance episode 2 premiered on Coupang Play and Prime Video. This episode focuses on introducing Woo-su as the new math teacher in Eui-ju’s class. Meanwhile, Eui-ju gets a new idea for her next BL novel through Gi-jeon and Dong-ju.

Woo-su as Eui-ju’s Math Teacher in Absolute of Romance Episode 2
Absolute Value of Romance episode 2 opens with Woo-su starting his first duty as homeroom teacher by calling attendance. He then speaks privately with Eun Ha-su about her gold medal. This action annoys the other students.
Later, Choi Ji-a arrives late after the morning assembly. Woo-su shows clear irritation. He continues the lesson and delivers a motivational speech about the importance of math in the universe. Furthermore, he calls out Eui-ju’s poor test score in front of the class. He tells her she must work harder to improve.
After class, Woo-su calls Eui-ju to the teacher’s office. He questions her about her performance. She admits she does not care much about math. In response, he assigns her a 15-page essay on Euclid. On her way out, Yoon Dong-ju tries to comfort her. He also defends Woo-su’s strict approach.
Back in class, Eui-ju asks Ji-a to meet Woo-su in the staff room. Meanwhile, Woo-su scolds Ji-a for arriving late. However, another teacher explains that Ji-a is an orphan. He advises Woo-su to overlook her lateness.
Eui-ju Begins Writing Her New BL Novel
Days pass as students settle into classes with the four teachers. Woo-su punishes Eui-ju again. He assigns her classroom cleaning duty.
Later, Eui-ju goes to the garbage area. There, she spots Gi-jeon massaging Dong-ju’s back after an injury. She overhears their conversation. Immediately, she grows excited. She starts imagining a BL storyline based on them. Furthermore, she pictures them as childhood friends turned high school lovers. However, she hesitates to write it down.
The next morning, she returns to the idea. She begins drafting character notes. In addition, Go-ya develops a crush on Dong-ju. She gives him a chalk holder to catch his attention. During PE class, Eui-ju shows little motivation. Gi-jeon notices and encourages her. She suddenly runs with energy and finishes first. Gi-jeon praises her performance. He suggests she try track and field.
Eui-ju feels touched by his concern. However, she stops herself from reading too much into it. Later that night, she continues writing. She creates another character inspired by Woo-su. She assigns him as Dong-ju’s rival love interest.
Finally, Eui-ju builds her story using all these ideas. She becomes surprised by how well it flows. Absolute Value of Romance episode 2 ends with her writing Woo-su’s character clashing with Gi-jeon’s character over Dong-ju.
Episode 2 of Absolute Value of Romance feels like a cute encounter between Woo-su and Eui-ju. Even though the two seem not to connect with each other, their duo is surprisingly interesting. Eui-ju and Dong-ju are also interesting together. However, the twist is that Eui-ju ships Dong-ju with Gi-jeon.
