SOTA HANAMURA celebrates Dotonbori Kamukura’s 40th anniversary with “Searching for You,” a sleek and heartfelt song inspired by the beloved ramen chain.
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Osaka-born ramen chain Dotonbori Kamukura has teamed up with the artist for a brand-new commercial song. SOTA wrote and performed “キミヲサガシテタ Searching for You,” which will soundtrack the chain’s latest TV commercial. The ad, featuring SOTA himself, will begin airing nationwide on 18 September, with a particular focus on the Kansai region.
The track blends a sleek urban sound with lyrics that carry a surprisingly tender warmth. SOTA brings his polished musical style to a song centered on affection for Kamukura. Rather than feeling like a typical commercial tie-in, the track incorporates small details that make his connection to the ramen brand feel personal.
The collaboration also reunites SOTA with producer A.G.O for the third time in a row. Their previous projects include “イエナイ” from SOTA’s pre-debut album ASCEEENSION and his single “Dejavu.”
A.G.O has also worked with artists such as Ayumu Imazu, Furui Riho, SIRUP, and King & Prince. His signature urban production helps shape the smooth atmosphere of SOTA’s latest release.
