FKJ graces the global music scene, winning fans worldwide, especially in Asia. He builds a strong following through electrifying live performances. He debuted in Southeast Asia in 2016 with an intimate DJ and live set in Bangkok. In 2017, he toured cities across Asia, including Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore. He expanded his 2023 tour with sold-out shows across more stops.

Moreover, he is recognized for redefining modern French electronic music. He developed a signature sound based on live instrumentation, improvisation, and layered production throughout his career. His latest single “Soulmates” showcases more of his musical excellence.

Solitude, soulmates, and spiritual resonance

“Soulmates” showcases FKJ’s instinctive approach to composition. It offers a natural entry into the wider world of his new album, Tyber. It captures the balance defining his work while carrying a midsummer glow anchored by a guitar motif. The track extends beyond a conventional love song, as FKJ explains,

Soulmates” is about embracing your solitude. For me, solitude really works, and I’m taking time with myself. But I really care about my soulmates, the people in my life who are important to me. It’s all about finding the balance.

FKJ wrote and recorded the tracklist across London, Los Angeles, Paris, Brazil, the Philippines, and more. It forms part of his album Tyber, his most expansive project to date. The release transitions into a personal and creative period following his past releases, documenting FKJ’s self-discovery over the years. There is something spiritual in FKJ sharing his story through songs, as he expounds,

All these events and places in the journey were essential, like a quest to become a more refined and evolved version of myself. I’ve listened back to the album over and over, and I still find myself being surprised and getting into a blissful state of mind. I just hope other people can feel the same way that I did while making the album.
