The 12-track project features a mix of previously released singles and brand-new songs. Herrera created the album alongside her longtime collaborator and producer, Tiger Darrow.

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Herrera grew up in a household shaped by both music and emotional expression. Her mother worked as a psychotherapist, while her father built a career as a Latin jazz musician. As a child, she immersed herself in the arts by singing with her father’s band, studying ballet, participating in choir, and eventually writing her own songs.
Although music remained a constant part of her life, Herrera initially pursued acting. That journey led her to Los Angeles, where she spent several years developing her craft. Eventually, she returned to the East Coast and settled in New York City. There, she shifted her focus toward songwriting and began building her identity as a recording artist.
