On July 17, Agent Kim Reactivated episode 7 premiered on Netflix. The episode follows Mr. Kim as he rescues Min-ji and confronts Mr. Ju, forcing him to answer for everything he has done. Moreover, Mr. Kim makes the painful decision to surrender in order to protect his daughter and those closest to him. The episode ends with a shocking twist as Mr. Kim is secretly transferred to North Korea, setting up a dangerous new chapter in the story.

Difficult Decision for Mr. Kim in Agent Kim Reactivated Episode 7
Agent Kim Reactivated episode 7 opens with a flashback shortly after Min-ji’s birth. Mr. Kim points a gun at his South Korean superiors and demands an immediate discharge from service.
After Mr. Kim leaves, the officials discuss the consequences of letting him go. Eventually, the agency director approves the request, believing they can always bring him back if necessary. Mole Cricket, however, warns that the decision will eventually come back to haunt them.
Outside the headquarters, Han-soo and Park Jin-cheol congratulate Mr. Kim on his new beginning. He then visits his late wife’s memorial before bringing newborn Min-ji home from the hospital.
Escape and Confrontation
The story returns to the present as Mr. Kim holds the Vice Minister hostage inside the Special Missions Directorate headquarters. Although Mole Cricket refuses to back down, the tactical team leader convinces him to prioritize the Vice Minister’s safety. Min-ji immediately runs into her father’s arms.
Mr. Kim, Han-soo, Jin-cheol, and Min-ji leave the headquarters with the Vice Minister serving as their bargaining chip. Before escaping, Jin-cheol forces the Special Missions Directorate agents to remain inside a marked square by claiming he planted explosives beneath them.
Meanwhile, another Special Missions Directorate unit prepares an ambush outside the compound. During the escape, Mr. Kim asks Sang-a, his bank colleague and undercover agent, to bring the Cheonsan Unit commander to his home. He later releases the Vice Minister at the front gate before continuing their escape.
Soon after, Min-ji shares an emotional moment with Mr. Kim before the group stops for a meal. Elsewhere, Mr. Ju orders his secretary, Mr. Nam, to capture both Mr. Kim and Min-ji.
After leaving the restaurant, several large trucks surround their vehicle. Masked men force everyone inside another truck and release sleeping gas into the cabin. Jin-cheol, who remains outside, loses consciousness, while Min-ji also falls asleep. However, Mr. Kim and Han-soo secretly stay awake and prepare to fight.
The ambush quickly falls apart as the two overwhelm their attackers. During the chaos, Mr. Nam discovers Min-ji hidden inside one of the trucks and orders it to leave immediately. Jin-cheol regains consciousness, attacks Mr. Nam, and throws him out of the moving vehicle. At the same time, Mr. Kim pursues the truck and defeats its driver while Han-soo eliminates the remaining attackers.
Agent Kim Reactivated Episode 7 Recap: Mr. Ju’s Downfall
After the battle, Mr. Kim notices a Juhak Construction pin and immediately realizes who orchestrated the attack. Without hesitation, he heads to Mr. Ju’s mansion and asks Han-soo and Jin-cheol to stay behind and protect Min-ji.
Upon arriving, Mr. Kim attempts to settle the matter through conversation. However, Mr. Ju mocks him, offers him a position on his security team, and threatens Min-ji’s safety.
The confrontation soon turns violent. Mr. Ju fights with a sword, but Mr. Kim easily gains the upper hand. Their battle eventually spills outside.
Meanwhile, Min-ji wakes up and rushes toward her father. She stops Mr. Kim from delivering the final blow. Instead, Mr. Kim demands that Mr. Ju apologize to both Min-ji and himself. Mr. Ju reluctantly complies, repeating the same apology he once refused to give during the school incident.
Afterward, Mr. Kim and his companions finally return home, believing the ordeal has ended.
Mr. Kim’s Farewell
Four hours later, Mole Cricket and the Special Missions Directorate agents remain frozen inside the marked square, still believing Jin-cheol’s bombs are real. They eventually discover that the explosives were nothing more than a bluff.
Meanwhile, Mr. Kim quietly prepares a meal for Min-ji while Special Missions Directorate agents surround the house and wait for his surrender. During dinner, Min-ji asks about his past, prompting Mr. Kim to share a child-friendly version of his life as a soldier.
Father and daughter then share an emotional farewell. Min-ji asks Mr. Kim to return safely, while he gives her a birthday present. In return, she hands him a passport-sized photograph to keep with him.
Before leaving, Mr. Kim quietly says goodbye to the laundromat owner, Sang-a, and his sleeping friends inside the car. Shortly afterward, Mole Cricket orders his agents to arrest Han-soo and Jin-cheol. Watching her father leave, Min-ji breaks down in tears.
The following day, Mr. Ju visits Gyudam Law Firm to discuss his next move. The managing partner suggests sending Min-ji overseas. Elsewhere, Golden Teeth survives his injuries and receives a new set of golden dentures.
Mr. Ju later bribes the assemblyman with six golden golf balls. At the same time, Sang-a receives a demotion, the laundromat owner closes his business, and Han-soo and Jin-cheol end up behind bars. Meanwhile, the new Number 66 recovers from his injuries at a rundown clinic. Television reports also announce that the upcoming inter-Korean peace talks have been postponed.
Elsewhere, Mr. Kim remains imprisoned inside a heavily secured facility while senior officials debate his future. Mole Cricket leaves the final decision to the agency director, reminding him that he approved Mr. Kim’s discharge years earlier.
Eventually, a diplomatic convoy arrives to transfer Mr. Kim. The agents blindfold and sedate him before the journey begins. When he regains consciousness, he finds himself inside a North Korean prison, where a soldier greets him with a torture device, bringing the episode to a chilling end.
Agent Kim Reactivated episode 7 delivers an emotional mix of action and sacrifice as Mr. Kim chooses to protect Min-ji above everything else. The episode’s heartbreaking farewell and shocking final twist make for a compelling setup for the next chapter.
