Pete’s Training in WU The Series Episode 4
WU The Series episode 4 begins with Niran calling out to Pete as the demon inside him takes over his body. When Pete fails to respond, someone sprays him with a fire extinguisher. Five hours later, Pete wakes up, and Niran shows him a video of himself being consumed by the demon.
Niran explains that Pete lacks the strength to control the demon. To help him gain full control, Niran decides to train him. His version of training includes living together, so he even buys Pete’s house to make their work easier. Niran immediately begins conditioning Pete, pushing him physically, mentally, and emotionally.
However, when Pete tries to rest, Niran scolds him. He tells Pete that if he continues living aimlessly, he will remain nothing more than a vessel for the demon. Niran’s words hit Pete hard and trigger fragments of his past memories.
That night, Pete becomes emotional and opens up to Niran. He talks about what happened to his parents and asks whether he was responsible for their fate. The next morning, Niran wakes up and finds Pete missing from his bed. He eventually discovers Pete training on his own, showing a renewed determination to complete their mission.
Pete’s Sister Becomes a Sacrifice
Elsewhere, students gather for a rally to protest against the government. Pete and Niran watch the event on television, and so does Li Pou. Li Pou sees the rally as an opportunity and decides to use the students as sacrifices. Unfortunately, Pete’s sister is among the protesters.
As Li Pou begins the ritual, the sky suddenly turns dark red. Men dressed like gangsters appear and throw smoke bombs into the crowd. Later, Pete and Niran arrive at a hospital and find Pete’s sister lying unconscious in a hospital bed.
Furious, Pete immediately realizes that the incident connects to the demon they are fighting. Niran and his team discuss the situation and conclude that the person behind it is incredibly cruel. The ritual drains the students’ life force and offers it as a sacrifice to the demon. Once the process finishes, the victims become little more than corpses.
Niran tries to calm Pete down. He takes him to another location and tells him that his strength has improved significantly. However, Niran warns him that anger remains his greatest weakness and that he must learn to control it as well.
The Demon Inside Pete
Meanwhile, Niran and his team work together once again to help Pete gain complete control over the demon inside him. They guide him into his memories, where he relives a moment when he lost his temper and punched his coach. This time, however, Pete chooses restraint and stops himself from repeating his past mistake.
The vision returns, and the demon provokes him once again. Pete refuses to give in to his anger. Soon after, he finds himself in a dark space where he finally comes face-to-face with the demon living inside him.
The two engage in a fierce battle. In the end, Pete defeats the demon and gains full control over its power. Niran then explains that the seal behind Pete’s ear is now nothing more than a tattoo because Pete has successfully mastered the demon within him.
Episode 4 of WU The Series delivers strong character development as Pete finally begins confronting both the demon inside him and the emotional wounds from his past. The training sequences with Niran add depth to their growing partnership while highlighting the discipline needed to control immense power. The storyline involving the student protesters raises the stakes and showcases the cruelty of the enemy they face. The episode ends on a satisfying note as Pete achieves a major breakthrough, making his journey feel both earned and exciting.
