Would You Marry Me? Episode 7 Officially Confirms Woo-Ju and Yoo Meri’s Relationship

Yoo Meri and Kim Woo-Ju are still pretending to be newlyweds so she can fully claim her house and lot prize. However, problems continue to arise, yet none have stopped Woo-Ju from confessing his feelings for her.

Episode 7 continues to reveal that Woo-Ju’s uncle, Jang Han-Gu, is behind the embezzlement issue at Myeong Sun Dang. While the chairwoman has been hinting at this problem, suspicion around Han-Gu remains low, giving him more time to cover it up. Still, it’s clear that Han-Gu is trying to control the company and prevent Woo-Ju from inheriting it.

Amid these events, it remains unclear how this will affect Woo-Ju and Meri’s relationship. Before diving into the conflict, the episode highlights the softer side of their bond. They’ve grown more comfortable with each other and even stayed in the house together for the first time. They didn’t share a bed, but being under the same roof was already a big step forward.

Meri described the night as feeling like that of real newlyweds who just argued. Yet instead of fighting, they texted each other for comfort during a thunderstorm. Everything was going smoothly until Woo-Ju’s friend, Yun Jin-Gyeong, saw them wearing matching shirts. That moment revealed the truth — Meri learned about Woo-Ju’s real identity and the past he had kept hidden.

These revelations made her doubt his feelings, but Woo-Ju’s persistence brought him to her home, where he confessed his love sincerely. It was a quick but romantic transition to lovers. Meanwhile, it’s not just Meri and Woo-Ju who are sparking romance. Jin-Gyeong and Sang Hyeon are also getting more screen time, and their chemistry is hard to ignore.
