L.A. Aguinaldo and Frayya win Mediacorp’s WINGMAN, taking home S$20,000, while Lorenzo Isip earns the Winning Wingman title and S$10,000.

Filipino actor and model L.A. Aguinaldo, 33, and Thai actress Frayya, 23, emerged as the winning couple of Mediacorp’s regional dating show WINGMAN. The pair secured the S$20,000 cash prize in the show’s finale after winning over the contestants and guest voters.

They beat fellow finalists Marco Gallo, 25, a Filipino actor and model, and Yuki Chong, 25, a Singapore-based marketing director. Content creator duo Sherrin and Yixi joined the contestants in deciding the winners through the final vote.

Meanwhile, Marco’s best friend, Lorenzo Isip, 26, earned the title of “Winning Wingman.” He received S$10,000 for supporting Marco throughout the show’s challenges and unexpected turns.

Hosted by Mediacorp 987 personality Germaine Tan, WINGMAN featured eight singles from across Southeast Asia and their best friends, known as wingmen. Over 12 episodes, the wingmen competed in challenges to secure dating opportunities for their friends. A mid-season twist later allowed the wingmen to join the dating pool themselves.

L.A. and Frayya Find Love Through Vulnerability

L.A. showed interest in Frayya early in the competition. However, Frayya also explored connections with Tyler and Marco before her relationship with L.A. developed.

Their romance faced challenges along the way. During a dating challenge, L.A.’s jealousy sparked their first major disagreement and brought Frayya to tears. The couple eventually worked through the conflict and grew closer through honest conversations.

Their subsequent dates revealed more about their personalities and personal histories. L.A. faced his fear of heights alongside Frayya and opened up about his parents’ separation. He also shared his hopes of building a family someday. In a heartfelt gesture, he wrote Frayya a letter that ended with a Thai line: “Wherever there’s your smile, that’s my home.”

Frayya later admitted that she trusted L.A. more than some people she had known for years. Their growing connection helped both of them embrace vulnerability and develop a deeper understanding of each other.

By the finale, the pair valued their relationship more than the competition’s outcome. Before the final vote, Frayya expressed her hope of leaving the show with a lasting connection, saying, “I’ll be walking out of here today with hopefully the love of my life.”

L.A. described meeting Frayya as “priceless” and an experience he could never replicate. He also credited their willingness to open up to each other for bringing them closer. Their connection ultimately won the support of the villa and the S$20,000 grand prize.

Marco and Yuki Give Their Connection a Chance

Marco and Yuki also experienced an unexpected romantic journey throughout WINGMAN. Yuki initially joined the show as Olivia’s wingman before entering the Singles pool. She confessed her feelings for Marco first, telling him that he was the only person in the villa who gave her butterflies. At the time, however, Marco privately admitted that he did not share her feelings.

His perspective eventually changed. After going on two dates with Yuki, Marco began to see her as the person he could most envision a future with. He said meeting her reminded him that “there’s genuine kindness in people” and helped him realise that not everyone wanted to take advantage of him.

Marco also praised Yuki’s authenticity, describing it as the quality he valued most in her. His wingman, Lorenzo, noticed the difference as well. He remarked that it was the first time he had seen Marco genuinely open up to a woman.

By the finale, both Marco and Yuki wanted to explore their relationship beyond the show. “I want this to work out. Let’s see where fate brings us,” Yuki told Marco. She also expressed how much she liked him, repeating her sentiment in Italian as a nod to his half-Italian heritage.

Marco returned her affection and acknowledged the sincerity of their connection. “At least what we had was real, and we hope it keeps going that way,” he said.

Lorenzo Wins Wingman of the Season

Lorenzo’s victory brought his journey on WINGMAN full circle. He entered the villa determined to help his best friend, Marco, open up emotionally, find a relationship and rediscover happiness.

By the end of the show, Marco had formed a promising connection with Yuki. Lorenzo’s steady support throughout the competition earned him the contestants’ votes for “Winning Wingman” and the accompanying S$10,000 cash prize.

Moreover, Lorenzo found an unexpected romance of his own. Although he initially focused on helping Marco, he developed a connection with Frayya’s wingman, UL Ramita, 21.

Reflecting on his experience, Lorenzo said, “I was just happy to come to this show to help my friend – and to unexpectedly find the love of my life as well.” He also expressed satisfaction with Marco’s progress, adding, “I just wanted to help him to be happy again – and I guess I did good.”

All 12 episodes of WINGMAN are available for free on mewatch and the Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube channel.

Beach House Pictures produced the regional dating show, which brought together singles and their best friends from across Southeast Asia. Mediacorp opened casting in December 2025, and production took place in May 2026. The show originated from the winning concept at Mediacorp’s Unscripted Formats Pitch during Creatives Assembly 2023.
