Legendary American emo rock band The Used will headline NOWHERE DISTRICT Festival on November 22, joining Sweet Mullet, The Darkest Romance, and NAP THE NAP.
The Used played a remarkable role in shaping the emo scene into a cultural force, dominating playlists since 2022. Their iconic anthems “The Taste of Ink,” “Buried Myself Alive,” and “Blue and Yellow” were part of their debut album.
Their latest albums Toxic Positivity (2003) and MEDZ (2024) prove the band stays true to emotional intensity while pushing their sound forward. These shifts are what make them iconic to audiences.
More than two decades later, The Used continues to tour and evolve. We are set to see them in Thailand, their sole Asian destination, taking the stage at NOWHERE DISTRICT Festival.
Built around the concept “A DISTRICT THAT EXISTS ONLY WHEN WE’RE HERE,” the newest music fest is presented by Kruengkao GROUP. The festival launches to celebrate the genre of emo music headlined by The Used.
Bangkok’s rock vanguard amplifies the stage
Adding even more intensity to the festival’s debut is a lineup of three defining names from Thailand’s rock scene.
First up is Sweet Mullet, the driving force behind Thailand’s Alternative Rock, Post-Hardcore, and Emo scene for years. The band became a defining part of the genre with breakthrough albums Light Heavy Weight (2007) and Sound of Silence (2010). Their latest single “STILL CRY” channels longing and nostalgia, reminding us why Sweet Mullet remains beloved across generations.
Joining the lineup with The Used is The Darkest Romance. The group will bring their signature blend of Extreme Metal and Alternative Metal. They have successfully released full-length albums Words and Sentence. The band built their identity around music that remains dynamic and emotionally uncompromising. Get ready for them to deliver lively energy to the crowd.
And then there’s NAP THE NAP, an icon of Thailand’s emo era. The icon represents a defining chapter of Thai youth culture and the emo generation with their fashion style. With songs such as “ไม่มีเธอ,” “เหนื่อยไหมหัวใจ,” and “เพราะว่ารัก,” they bring nostalgia back where it belongs: straight into the pit.
