NAZE makes its official Japanese debut with “I LIKE IT,” a two-track single that blends dance-pop, nu-disco, funk, and a message of individuality.
C9 Entertainment’s seven-member boy group NAZE has officially entered the Japanese music scene with its first digital single, “I LIKE IT.”
The release follows the group’s appearance in TBS’ DREAM STAGE and its self-titled Korean debut EP, NAZE. In addition, the group earned the ENA Rising Star award at the KPOP UP CHARTSHOW following its debut.
Two Tracks, One Message
I LIKE IT features two tracks that highlight NAZE’s youthful energy and distinct musical identity. The title track, “I LIKE IT,” blends nu-disco and dance-pop with tropical instrumentation, vintage guitar, groovy bass, and rhythmic drums.
The song centers on individuality. Its lyrics embrace the small quirks that shape a person, including awkward moments, insecurity, and the desire to fit in. Rather than hiding these traits, the track presents them as essential parts of who someone becomes.
Meanwhile, “HARMONY” brings a funkier edge through its prominent guitar and rhythmic topline. The song revolves around the idea of different notes coming together to create one harmony. It also reflects the connection between NAZE’s seven members while introducing a fresh band-oriented sound.
NAZE Steps Into a New Chapter
The Japanese release marks another milestone for NAZE, which officially debuted in South Korea on May 4, 2026, with its self-titled mini album. The group consists of KAISEI, YOUNKI, ATO, TURN, YUYA, KIMKUN, and DOHYEOK.
Before their Korean debut, the members introduced themselves to Japanese audiences through TBS’ DREAM STAGE, which aired in January 2026. Now, with I LIKE IT, NAZE returns to Japan with new music and a sound that emphasizes individuality, connection, and youthful confidence.
