hongjoin expands his debut era with CLOCKWORK (Deluxe), adding three tracks that explore love, growth, ambition, and identity.
Singaporean Brooklyn-based artist and producer hongjoin enters the next chapter of his debut album era with CLOCKWORK (Deluxe). The expanded release builds on the world he introduced with CLOCKWORK while opening new creative directions.

The deluxe edition adds three new tracks to the original 12-song project. hongjoin uses the expanded tracklist to explore identity, ambition, relationships, and personal growth from new perspectives. Moreover, he continues to blend genres through sharp songwriting and self-directed production. The result offers longtime listeners more of the world behind CLOCKWORK while giving new audiences a stronger introduction to his evolving artistry.
A Deeper Look Into CLOCKWORK
Released in June, CLOCKWORK follows the hours of a clock face, with each track representing a different hour. The album connects the mechanical nature of time with love’s ability to exist beyond it. Across the project, hongjoin moves between euphoric highs and reflective lows. He captures the unpredictable emotions that shape the nonlinear experience of love.
The release also follows a major period of live growth. In July, hongjoin performed his biggest headline show to date at Singapore’s SCAPE Ground Theatre to celebrate the album launch. He later opened select dates of EJEAN’s US tour in Brooklyn, Vancouver, and Seattle. He is now bringing his headline show to Los Angeles and New York.
Building Global Momentum
hongjoin has already surpassed 10 million Spotify streams, with his largest listener markets spanning Southeast Asia. His rankings include #1 Singapore, #2 Taiwan, #3 Thailand, #4 Malaysia, #5 Philippines, and #6 Indonesia. In 2024, Spotify named him a Top Artist of Rising 65 and placed ‘KOMOREBI’ among its Top 5 Songs of Rising 65.
His growing profile has also earned coverage from The Straits Times, Men’s Folio, Esquire Singapore, and Harper’s Bazaar Singapore. Furthermore, he sold out his 2024 homecoming show, ‘Everything in Between,’ at the Esplanade Annexe and has shared stages with artists including Ricky Montgomery, Charlie Burg, Matt Maltese, Mikayla Geier, PRYVT, and grentperez.
CLOCKWORK (Deluxe) marks hongjoin’s first full project with new management team NINETY8 Management, alongside SoundOn. Together, they aim to expand his reach across the US, Asia, and beyond while pushing his artistic vision forward.
