2. Let’s go KAIKIGUMI
Halloween may be a good few months away, but that’s not stopping Crunchyroll from spooking things up this summer 2026 anime season. Enter Let’s go KAIKIGUMI, C-Station’s newest comedy-horror series based on the manga of the same name. The show features an unnamed protagonist who may look tough with his big build and stern, early 90s delinquent-looking design, but he actually gets scared easily.
To his misfortune, he encounters the eerie Mechako, who runs the Kaiki-gumi organization that deals with the supernatural. Chaos then ensues as Mechako tries to rope in the scaredy-cat protagonist into helper her revive the organization.
Premiere date: July 5, 2026
3. Grand Blue Dreaming Season 3
While school-centered shows continue to dominate anime and manga, Grand Blue remains a refreshing stand-out with its college-set antics. It’s no surprise, then, that the anime is coming back for its third season on Crunchyroll. This time around, Iori and his rambunctious college buddies and babe head overseas as his cousin hires him to help run a new dive shop in Palau.
Get ready for crazier gags and a whole lot of fun in the sun. As the summer heat takes the temperature up a notch, the 3rd season of Grand Blue keeps it cool with all sorts of tropical chaos in store.
Premiere date: July 7, 2026
4. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You Season 3
Also returning for its 3rd season is the much-beloved The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You. Harems haven’t exactly had a pristine reputation amongst anime fans over the years, but this show is a delightful exception. It tells the story of Rentaro Aijo, who’s been told by the God of Love that he was accidentally given 100 soulmates, and he has to love every single one happily to avoid losing his life.
The ridiculous premise aside, it is an amazing feat that the show has been able to create pleasant and loving dynamics between Rentaro and his many girlfriends. It’s far from generic fantasy slop for wannabe-polys; it’s a great, albeit unrealistic, portrayal of a man falling in love with multiple girls at the same time.
Premiere date: July 5, 2026
5. Iron Wok Jan!
Make sure to have some food handy or to watch this show with a full stomach! Iron Wok Jan! continues down the same path that Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma and Yakitate!! Japan lay before it—high-adrenaline cooking shows. It even takes its cues from its beloved predecessors, drawing out the excitement, drama, and intrigue in competitive cooking.
The series focuses on Jan, a master chef of Chinese cuisine, who will go above and beyond to crush his rivals and stay on top. Some of what he does may not exactly be ethical, but the ridiculousness that comes out of his many antics are nothing short of entertainment!
Premiere date: July 5, 2026
6. A Livid Lady’s Guide to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires
Anime has seen countless villainess shows pop up over the past few years, so that it has become its own sub-genre. There are also many kinds on offer, from more wholesome romances to thrilling revenge fantasies. This new series, A Livid Lady’s Guide to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires, is more of the latter.
Spurned and thrown into a dungeon by her crown prince fiancé and ignored by her duke father, noblewoman Elizabeth decides to take revenge on the entire kingdom. She takes her seven grimoires and rebuilds a new life in another kingdom, all while plotting the most violent, destructive, and ultimately satisfying vengeance.
Premiere date: July 6, 2026
7. The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects
What is it about fantasy series about building up a new village, town, or kingdom from the ground up? More and more such shows have filled up Crunchyroll’s seasonal lineups in recent years, so it must mean that there’s something to it. Perhaps the latest addition to this roster, The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects, will make the trend even clearer.
The series tells the story of Dias, who returns home after decades of war and is hailed a hero. The kingdom rewards him with his own lands, but they turn out to be empty plains with zero residents. It’s now up to this warrior-turned-feudal lord, who’s only ever known battle, to turn this his new territory into a prosperous and hopefully well-populated domain.
Premiere date: July 3, 2026
Catch all of these new, exciting shows on Crunchyroll this July 2026. The streaming platform will also feature Thai dubs and Southeast Asia subtitle support, continuing their efforts in helping localize anime in different regions.
