Dangerous Revelations in No Tail to Tell Episode 8

No Tail to Tell episode 8 kicks off with Eun-ho making a blunt confession. Although she admits that she finds Si-yeol attractive, she clarifies that she does not truly like him. Instead, she treats dating as the last unchecked item on her life list and decides to try it with him.

Naturally, Si-yeol reacts with disbelief and irritation as she shamelessly flirts with him. To make matters worse, she confidently schedules their date right after completing their daily agenda.

Meanwhile in No Tail to Tell episode 8, Jang Do-cheol suffers the consequences of his bloody past. The ghosts of those he killed torment him, draining his strength and leaving him coughing up blood.

Eventually, he collapses and lands in Lee Yoon’s hospital, which conveniently reunites hunter and CEO. Back at the nursing home, Eun-ho attempts to question Hwang Dong-sik but learns that he has already passed away.

Through his family, she discovers that he once built a pharmaceutical empire before obsessively chasing a better formula and losing everything. Overcome with guilt, Eun-ho forces Si-yeol to withdraw all his savings and offer it as condolence money.

Si-Yeol Played Football Again

After Eun-ho donates the condolence money, Geum-ho 2.0 finally gains a bit of spiritual power. That small progress pushes Eun-ho to a new conclusion: the heavens want her to clean up her past mistakes.

Soon, she uncovers the truth—Hwang was never her client. Chairman Kim was the real mastermind, and he used Eun-ho to identify a winning drug before coercing Hwang into selling it.

Furious, Eun-ho confronts Chairman Kim and forces him to hand over his headquarters building to the Hwang family.

To celebrate the successful good deed, Geum-ho 2.0 suggests a buffet feast. However, since they are broke, Si-yeol decides to earn money the only way he can—through football.

During a practice match between a top second-division team and his struggling fourth-division squad, the game looks hopeless at first.

Then Si-yeol steps in, shifts the momentum, and captures Eun-ho’s attention in the process. The opposing team soon plays dirty, but his team manages to tie through a penalty kick.

Instead of celebrating, Si-yeol lashes out at his teammates for their poor performance. However, he quickly learns the harsh reality: most of them juggle exhausting part-time jobs because their salaries barely cover expenses.

The lack of training suddenly makes sense. While worrying about funding his date with Eun-ho, he considers his limited options. Thankfully, she proposes borrowing money from one of their slightly wealthier teammates, proving she can be practical when it counts.

Eun-ho and Si-yeol’s Date

Si-yeol manages to salvage the night, and he takes Eun-ho on a classic date. They begin at Namsan Tower, where couples attach love locks as promises of devotion.

However, Eun-ho writes a wish for everything to return to normal, which immediately irritates Si-yeol for its lack of romance. Afterward, they head to dinner, and the mood shifts.

Si-yeol admits he has never enjoyed simple public affection because his celebrity status always drew attention. Eun-ho listens quietly, knowing she once erased memories without considering the cost.

At the same time, danger closes in elsewhere. Yoon and Do-cheol ambush Woo-seok, knock out his father, and force his lost memories back. Once restored, Woo-seok reveals the truth—Eun-ho has become human.

Unaware of the betrayal, Eun-ho boldly holds Si-yeol’s hand in public. Still, he cannot shake her earlier comment about erasing memories. He confesses that he wants to remember her, no matter the consequences.

Although she insists he deserves a normal life, he silences the argument with a kiss, choosing the present over an uncertain future.
