Dare You To Death Episode 1 Recap: The Avengers Students’ Case
A group of friends called the Avengers spend the night partying and playing truth or dare until they pass out drunk. By morning, Puifai does not wake up and is found dead, turning the rest of the group into suspects.
Inspector Kamin returns to Thailand from overseas and takes on the case as soon as he arrives. On the way to the crime scene, he clashes with Police Captain Jade, who issues him a traffic ticket. They later meet again at the scene, where tension immediately rises and Jade finds out he is Kamin’s subordinate.
They decide to compete over whether Puifai’s death was a murder or an accident. Kamin agrees that if Jade wins, he will work as Kamin’s colleague rather than his subordinate. Later, at the station, Jade discovers that his brother is one of the suspects. Kamin tells him to step back from the interrogation, but Jade insists that if his brother is guilty, he will be the one to press charges himself.
The Seven Suspects of Avengers Students’ Case
First, Jay, Jade’s brother, says the group drank while playing truth or dare and slowly passed out. He claims he was the last to fall asleep, and when he woke up, Puifai was already dead. Next, Time admits he brought the alcohol but did not mix the drinks. He says Tonkla mixed them and recalls seeing Cherreen and Champ arguing when he went out to buy ice. Kamin later learns that Champ was dating Puifai, while Cherreen was her closest friend.
Bell reveals that she called the ambulance, but she and Tar stopped the others from calling the police. Later, Tar explains that Bell feared trouble because of a past incident, while others felt protected by their families. He also insists he quit drugs long ago.
Tonkla admits he mixed the drinks but claims nothing unusual happened that night. He points suspicion at Champ, noting his lack of reaction despite Puifai being his girlfriend. Champ, however, says he was in shock and simply hides his emotions well. He also reveals that Puifai took sleeping pills and had stomach ulcers.
Meanwhile, Jade questions Cherreen, who describes Champ and Puifai as a happy couple. She confirms Puifai’s health issues and believes heavy drinking may have caused her death. Cherreen says she found Puifai’s body, after which everyone panicked and called an ambulance.
However, Champ’s influential father steps in and ends the interrogation.

Drug Distributor and Dealer Case Solved
On Kamin’s first day at work, he handles two cases at once: the Avengers students’ case and a drug case involving a dealer and a major distributor. He tells Jade that he suspects the students are hiding something and lying—especially Tar—since drugs were found at the crime scene.
Because of this, Kamin and Jade head to the Drink Me bar, a known drug hotspot, to track down the distributor and solve the drug case. They raid the place and quickly solve the case.
To celebrate, they go out drinking, but Jade gets drunk. Kawin tells him not to tell anyone that he works under him, or he’ll feel embarrassed. Jade then says that someone like him never accepts anyone as his boss, but if he ever does, it will only be the owner of his heart.
Meanwhile, Tar receives a truth-or-dare letter with attachments that panic him. He immediately calls Champ and demands to know why he sent them.
