Singha Must Solve the Case in Goddess Bless You From Death Episode 1
Episode 1 of the series begins with a mother handing her baby to her mom, telling her to take care of the baby. The mother brought the baby to the temple and left it with the vulnerable monk. The monk said that this baby must endure whatever comes to him. He’ll be able to see and hear things he never wanted to—he was named Thup.
The scene shifted to an abandoned mall swarmed by police as they investigated seven dead bodies that were found. Inspector Singha arrived at the crime scene and asked Captain Mek to call the forensics—specifically Darin and Sey.
When Darin and Sey arrived at the crime scene, they were shocked by what they saw—seven bodies hanging from a tree. Not just that—the eyes and mouths of the corpses were stitched.
Singha was advised by someone to have this case closed as fast as he could. He must solve it as quietly as possible—probably because of the number of deaths and the way they died. Sey suspected that these people didn’t die at the same time. Some were dead seven days ago, while others just two days ago.
Darin added that this case might not be an ordinary one. He could feel that something was off, suggesting that maybe a supernatural cause—like ghosts—was behind it. Mek added that since he entered the building, he could feel chills all over. But Singha was quick to shut down that conclusion.

Singha Suspects Thup as the Murderer
While looking for evidence, Singha found someone. He was trying to get his attention, but the man seemed like he couldn’t hear Singha calling him. He was trying to get away from something—but there was nothing there.
Singha pulled him up as he was about to fall from the second floor. That’s when he regained his senses. Singha quickly called him the primary suspect in the case, given that he was the only one there—and covered in blood. The man introduced himself as Thup.
But Thup denied Singha’s accusations, telling him that he didn’t do anything. Singha then asked him, if he didn’t do it, who else? Thup replied with “ghosts,” but Singha didn’t believe it. He brought Thup to the police station for questioning while waiting for the blood test results to see if it matched any of the victims.
When they arrived at the holding cell, Thup asked Singha not to let him stay there. He could be anywhere but not that room. Yet still, Singha didn’t listen and left him there. Just seconds after, Thup began chanting as he heard whispers. Thup saw a ghost hanging in the room.
A few moments later, he seemed to have been possessed as he grabbed his belt and tried to hang himself as well. Luckily, he came to his senses before anything happened and tried to knock hard on the door.

Thup’s Dream of What Will Happen at the Abandoned Building
Singha started to question Thup, beginning with his family background. Thup grew up in a temple and lived with a monk since he was a kid. When the monk passed away, Thup moved to Bangkok to work as a freelance illustrator and support himself. He was asked by Singha why he was at the abandoned building.
A few nights ago, I had a dream that something terrible would happen there. It felt so real.
While Thup was telling this, the scene showed how someone in a red jacket tried to stitch the bodies and hang them from the tree. When Thup went into the mall to see it, he saw seven dead bodies hanging. Then he lost it and found himself getting tangled with wandering spirits in the abandoned mall.
After the questioning, Singha tried to put Thup back in the room. But Thup asked him not to as there was a ghost there—hanged—and everyone who stayed in that room also hanged themselves. One of the police officers testified that what Thup said was true. So Singha put him in his office instead.
Darin and Sey Examine the Corpses in Goddess Bless You From Death Episode 1
The forensic team analyzed and examined the bodies. They haven’t found any common ground among the victims aside from having their eyes and lips stitched. Sey claimed that one thing’s for sure—the killings didn’t happen in a single day.
Aside from that, they also told Singha that the blood found on Thup didn’t match any of the bodies—it was his own blood. Thus, Singha came back to Thup and cleaned his wounds. Moments after Singha left Thup, he was again surrounded by ghosts. But as soon as Singha arrived, the ghosts vanished.
Maybe it’s not about the place. It’s more about me. Then can I stay with you, sir? When I’m with you, sir, the ghosts disappear. You’re my talisman, like my master.
Singha, although hesitant, brought Thup to his house to protect him—as he was still innocent.

Singha Saw Thup’s Drawings Similar to the Corpses
When morning came, Singha accompanied Thup to his house to get his clothes and other things. While Thup was busy packing, Singha came across Thup’s drawing book. As he flipped through, he saw Thup’s drawings that were very similar to the corpses they found—eyes and lips stitched.
Singha didn’t say anything and just quietly left the house. They went next to the abandoned mall once again. Singha asked Thup to show him what really happened. But Thup asked Singha first if he could hold him so the ghosts would disappear.
True enough, Thup was able to feel at ease afterward. He narrated what really happened again—starting from when he walked inside and saw incense sticks, candles, and trays. He followed by saying that it seemed like someone was performing a ritual.
Thup mentioned that this mall seemed like a cemetery in the past, where wandering spirits lurked. He added that this might be the reason why the culprit chose the place—maybe he was making a negotiation with the ghosts in exchange for dark power.
Before the episode wrapped up, Captain Mek called Singha to return to their station. Singha found the chief introducing Inspector King as the lead investigator of the case. Singha was left astounded seeing King’s face.
Episode 2 Preview, Release Date, and Where to Watch
Episode 2 teases the chief saying that Inspector King is here to assist with the case. But Singha insisted that their unit can handle it. Captain Mek mentioned that there’s no connection among the seven victims. Thus, Singha asked what could be the motive behind this mass killing.
Darin said that it seems like a black magic case to him, but Sey said it was a serial murder case. Thup heard a voice asking for help. The case made progress by identifying similar cases—five years ago in Sisaket, ten years ago in Phang Nga, five years ago in Chiang Mai, and now in Bangkok.
