A galaxy far, far away is making its long-awaited return to theaters.
The Mandalorian and Grogu reunites audiences with bounty hunter Din Djarin and the ever-adorable Grogu as they set off on a new adventure across the Star Wars universe. The film also marks a major milestone for the franchise, becoming its first theatrical release since 2019 and signaling Star Wars’ long-awaited comeback to the big screen.
Beginning May 20, audiences can join Din Djarin and Grogu on an all-new adventure across the galaxy. The film follows the beloved duo as they help the New Republic track down the remnants of the fallen Empire while facing dangerous enemies lurking in the far reaches of space.
According to the official synopsis:
The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu.
The film is directed by Jon Favreau, known for Iron Man and The Jungle Book, and produced by Dave Filoni, the creative force behind Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Pedro Pascal returns as the iconic Mandalorian, Din Djarin, leading a cast that also includes Sigourney Weaver as Colonel Ward and Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt.
Lastly, after the conclusion of Maul – Shadow Lord, fans will be treated to good Star Wars content.
