LA/Seattle punk duo Mr. Dinkles have released their new five-track EP, R.I.P.T., now available on all major streaming platforms. Alongside the project, the band has highlighted “Grinding My Teeth” as the EP’s focus track. The song delivers an honest look at burnout, creative frustration, and the emotional challenges that come with pursuing a life in music.

Grinding my teeth is about realizing how hard I have to work in the music industry as well as how vulnerable the job can be with online presence, dealing with burnout, and reevaluating my priorities.
Comprised of vocalist and guitarist Rettig and drummer Rocco Ramos, Mr. Dinkles continue to build a reputation as one of the most distinctive acts in the DIY punk scene. The duo combines elements of garage rock, post-grunge, power-pop, and lo-fi punk to create a sound that feels both unpredictable and deeply relatable. As a result, their music balances humor, vulnerability, and sharp self-awareness.
Throughout R.I.P.T., the band examines the pressures of modern life with equal parts honesty and sarcasm.
