Aon Somrutai made a successful Philippine debut with viral moments and exciting new projects under GLXY Talent Management and Universal Records.
Thai digital superstar Aon Somrutai officially introduced herself to Filipino fans during her much-anticipated first visit to the Philippines. The trip also marked an important milestone in her career as the newest artist under GLXY Talent Management and Universal Records Philippines.
Already one of Thailand’s most recognizable online personalities, Aon continues to expand her reach beyond social media as she connects with audiences across Southeast Asia.

Aon built her massive following through lifestyle, fashion, luxury, and travel content that attracts millions of viewers across digital platforms. Moreover, her signature catchphrase, “Thank You, Kateyki!”, has become a viral phenomenon throughout Asia, helping her earn a loyal international fanbase. Accompanied by her husband, affectionately known to fans as “Doctor,” she arrived in Manila on July 13 for a packed schedule of media appearances, collaborations, and exclusive events.
Her Philippine journey began with a welcome dinner at Lola Ote Restaurant, where members of the press and digital media had the opportunity to meet the Thai star.
During the gathering, Aon Somrutai shared stories about her career, participated in interviews, and interacted with local media personalities. She also met several well-known Filipino content creators, including M1ss Jade So of Drag Race Philippines Season 2, along with popular TikTok creators Evan Tan and Andrea So.
In addition, the warm reception reflected Filipino hospitality. Babina Balloons welcomed Aon with a colorful balloon bouquet, while Common Room PH and Pop Junk Love prepared a thoughtfully curated gift package.
The collection included dried mangoes, local snacks, a traditional banig bag, a pamaypay, a wooden back scratcher, and plush versions of iconic Filipino street food favorites such as fishballs, kwek-kwek, and isaw.
Viral Moments and Exciting Collaborations
One of the biggest highlights of the trip came when Aon collaborated with social media personality Small Laude. The pair filmed a mukbang featuring authentic Filipino dishes served at Lola Ote Restaurant. During the video, Small introduced Aon and “Doctor” to local favorites, including sisig and barbecue, allowing the couple to experience some of the country’s best-loved comfort food for the first time.
The following day, Aon stepped into the spotlight for an exclusive MEGA Magazine photo shoot at Salon de Ning inside The Peninsula Manila. The session will appear in an upcoming cover feature celebrating her growing influence in the region.

While at the hotel, Aon also filmed a lighthearted video of herself riding a seated electric scooter while wearing an elegant evening gown. The clip quickly captured attention online, surpassing 11 million Instagram views and more than 3 million views on TikTok.
Furthermore, Aon Somrutai delighted Filipino viewers with a guest appearance on the popular noontime program It’s Showtime on July 15. She joined the hosts and audience in dancing to the viral hit “Oooh La La Baby” by the Baby Dolls, creating another memorable moment that quickly spread across social media.
Throughout her stay, Seda Vertis North served as her home in Manila, while Transportverse handled her official transportation for interviews, photoshoots, and scheduled appearances across the city. A local glam team, led by hairstylists Mark Anthony Rosales and Vannie Claveria together with makeup artists Pam Carreon and Make Up by MIRS, completed her polished look for every engagement.
Aon Somrutai’s first visit to the Philippines proved to be a resounding success. Beyond introducing herself to Filipino audiences, she strengthened her presence in the local entertainment industry through meaningful collaborations, viral content, and memorable public appearances.
