South Korean band KIK has teamed up with Australian singer-songwriter will hyde for their latest digital single, “ROAD.” The collaboration arrived on August 31 at 12:00 PM KST across major streaming platforms.

“ROAD” explores the feeling of finding your way back to someone despite distance and time. KIK builds the track around refreshing live-band instrumentation and energetic arrangements. Meanwhile, will hyde adds soft, delicate vocals that bring a contrasting warmth to the song. Their distinct styles create a natural balance throughout the track.
KIK first introduced “ROAD” to audiences at the 2026 Music Flow Festival. The band performed the song live ahead of its official release. The performance also highlighted their progress during their first year as a group. KIK delivered a powerful set and displayed greater confidence on stage. Their festival appearance further fueled interest in the upcoming single.

“ROAD” marks another step in KIK’s growing international presence. The band previously collaborated with Thai group Dept on “piece of peace.” With their latest release, KIK continues to explore new sounds and connect with artists beyond Korea.
will hyde brings an established international audience to the collaboration. The Australian singer-songwriter has around 400,000 monthly Spotify listeners and more than 100 million streams worldwide. He has also gained attention in South Korea through collaborations with MRCH and imzoo. Stray Kids’ Bang Chan has also previously highlighted his music.

Furthermore, KIK recently joined the Korean lineup for “Eurovision Song Contest Asia,” the first Asian edition of the long-running European music competition. The band previewed an unreleased song titled “F1” during the event, building anticipation for the competition.
KIK member Wooseok will also continue his activities with both the band and PENTAGON as the group celebrates its 10th anniversary with full-group promotions.
Agencies MPMG MUSIC and UNDEFINED Entertainment say KIK plans to strengthen its international presence through “ROAD” and its Eurovision Song Contest Asia appearance. The South Korean qualifying round featuring KIK will air on ENA on September 4 at 11:00 PM KST.
