Sons of Silver explore the tension between desire and conflict in “Fire Between Us,” a powerful rock single paving the way for their upcoming album.
Los Angeles rock outfit Sons of Silver continues its roll-out toward a new studio album with “Fire Between Us,” released on August 14. The track combines towering guitars, thunderous drums, and cinematic rock production. Meanwhile, its rallying refrain adds an anthemic energy to the song’s themes of conflict and connection.

At its core, “Fire Between Us” explores the intense pull between two people caught between desire and conflict. As singer and guitarist Peter Argyropoulos explains, the same emotional force that threatens to drive them apart also keeps them connected.
Meanwhile, keyboardist and engineer Brina Kabler highlights the chemistry between the guitars and keyboards. Together, the instruments weave bold melodies throughout the track. As a result, “Fire Between Us” delivers a dynamic sound that feels powerful, emotional, and engaging.
Keeping the Rock Spirit Alive
“Fire Between Us” follows “Dreaming Dangerous,” continuing Sons of Silver’s roll-out toward their upcoming sophomore album. While the first single introduced the band’s new direction, the latest release builds on that momentum with expansive production, shifting dynamics, and powerful songwriting.
The band brings together singer and guitarist Peter Argyropoulos, bassist Adam Kury, guitarist Kevin Haaland, drummer Marc Slutsky, and keyboardist and engineer Brina Kabler. Together, they combine years of experience across rock and alternative music.
The band also captured that live energy on their 2025 EP 7 Cities 7 Songs, recorded during the Art of Letting Go Tour. Meanwhile, their debut full-length Runaway Emotions helped establish them as a rising force in modern rock.
Now, “Fire Between Us” pushes their sound forward as they prepare for their sophomore album. By blending timeless rock influences with modern alternative energy, Sons of Silver continue shaping a sound that feels both familiar and fresh.
