OMEGA X member JUNGHOON unveils “DON’T HOLD IT,” his third solo single since debuting as a solo artist, further establishing his unique musical style.
OMEGA X JUNGHOON released his new digital single “DON’T HOLD IT.” The track marks his second solo release of the year, following “DTT” in April. At the same time, it stands as his third solo single overall since his debut solo project Belong in December 2025.
With this release, JUNGHOON continues to build his identity outside group activities. He uses each solo drop to show a different side of his artistry. As a result, “DON’T HOLD IT” strengthens his growing presence as both a vocalist and performer.
Expanding Creative Horizons as a Solo Artist
JUNGHOON first introduced himself to global audiences through the group ENOi. Later, he re-debuted with OMEGA X in June 2021. Since then, he has balanced group promotions with solo work and acting. In 2025, he also made his acting debut in the K-drama My Bias is Showing!, further expanding his creative range.
Meanwhile, OMEGA X continues to stand as an 11-member group under IPQ. The lineup includes JAEHAN, HWICHAN, SEBIN, HANGYEOM, TAEDONG, XEN, JEHYUN, KEVIN, JUNGHOON, HYUK, and YECHAN. The group name combines “Omega,” the last letter of the Greek alphabet, and “X,” which represents the unknown and infinite possibilities. Because of this, OMEGA X reflects growth, change, and ambition within the K-pop industry.
Importantly, each member of OMEGA X entered the group with prior experience in the industry. Many appeared on survival shows or debuted in earlier projects. As a result, OMEGA X became a second chapter for all members, allowing them to rebuild and reintroduce themselves through a new creative identity.
Through this shared journey, the group connects with fans on a deeper level. Each member brings a personal story shaped by resilience and persistence. In turn, those stories feed into their music and performances, helping listeners relate more closely to their message.
With “DON’T HOLD IT,” JUNGHOON continues that narrative of growth. He pushes forward as a solo artist while still carrying the experience of his group work. At the same time, he uses his releases to explore new emotional and artistic directions.
