Over the past decade, Zolita has emerged as one of pop music’s most distinct voices. She built her career on duality, mixing softness and control, fantasy and confession, intimacy and spectacle. This artistic vision makes her recognized for the fully realized worlds she creates around her music.

Zolita was first exposed to music through bluegrass guitar, later developing a fascination with film and visual storytelling. She began shaping her music through a cinematic lens. She gained early attention with projects like Immaculate Conception and Sappho, expanding into more cinematic territory.

Now, listeners can indulge further in Zolita through her newest single “Hell’s Belles.”

Zolita’s “Hell’s Belles” World

Zolita’s identity as a storyteller unafraid of contradictions mirrors the vibrant, playful vibe of “Hell’s Belles.” The singer reveals,

Written with my friend and artist Gatlin, this is the song that inspired the theme and sound of my next project, It’s a sapphic take on the ultimate bro country song, ‘Boys Round Here’ and is an ode to the all the southern bad girls I’ve fallen for over the years

The music video for “Hell’s Belles” features a detective undercover at a girls’ reform camp turned lesbian cult. It stars her longtime collaborator Tatiana Ringsby as ‘Hell.’

Moreover, LGBTQ+ influencers Kyra Green, Georgia Bridgers, Becky Missal, Lauren Payton, Alyssa Els, and Sierra Fujita portray cult members. They fill the video with seduction, power, and sisterhood, capturing the feeling of losing yourself in someone intoxicating. Zolita says,

The “Hell’s Belles” video was inspired by the six years I spent inside a kundalini yoga cult. It’s my way of processing the experience through humor, fantasy, and pop spectacle.

Apart from the music video, Zolita will release a series of scenes with extended dialogues. She is also expected to create a mockumentary‑style mini‑series expanding the cult’s world.
