Under the creative direction of multi-Grammy Award-winning producer Timbaland, Tata steps into a new wave of music-making. However, the single still keeps human artistry at its core. Tata delivers real vocals and performance, while technology supports the creative process by expanding sonic ideas instead of replacing them.

A Human-Led Creative Vision with “Not So Bad”

At the heart of “Not So Bad” lies a strong focus on authenticity. Although the project has drawn attention for its use of advanced tools, the music stays grounded in lived experience, collaboration, and storytelling. Tata explains,

This project is built on real performance, collaboration, and creativity, with technology helping expand what we can imagine. I’m having fun creating and it inspires me.

Her journey began in performance. She first entered the industry as a dancer with the internationally known Jabbawockeez network. She blends real human artistry with advanced technology. Using AI as a tool within the production process, Tata’s music is shaped by human creativity, storytelling, and performance.

However, Timbaland later recognized her artistic potential and guided her transition into a vocalist and creative collaborator. He continues to push production boundaries through experimentation and innovation.

For “Not So Bad,” AI plays a supporting role in sound design and reimagining ideas. It helps reshape human-made musical elements into new textures and arrangements. Still, the songwriting, performances, creative direction, and final production remain fully human-led.

As Pacific Music Group’s global artist and exclusive Asia-managed talent, Tata represents a new generation of artists embracing innovation without losing artistic identity. Through “Not So Bad,” she shows how technology and human creativity can work together to create music driven by emotion, identity, and genuine expression.
