British-Norwegian pop group a1 is celebrating its long-standing connection with Filipino fans through a new single, “In Love in the Philippines.” The exclusive Philippines release arrives on September 25, marking another chapter in the group’s enduring relationship with the country.
Written and produced by a1, the upbeat track draws inspiration from falling in love with both a person and a place. More than two decades of memories in the Philippines helped shape the song. For the group, the country has become one of its most meaningful homes away from home.
“We’ve shared so many incredible moments with our fans in the Philippines,” a1 shares. “This song feels like our love letter back to them — and to a country that has given us memories we’ll never forget.”
a1 Returns to the Philippines
The new single arrives just weeks before a1 returns to the Philippines for a three-city tour in October 2026. The group will perform in Cebu on October 16 at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino. It will then head to New Frontier Theater in Cubao on October 17, followed by Santa Rosa Sports Complex in Laguna on October 18.
The quartet—Paul Marazzi, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Mark Read, and Ben Adams—will bring a set filled with fan favorites. Audiences can expect songs such as “Like a Rose,” “Everytime,” “Heaven by Your Side,” “Same Old Brand New You,” and “Caught in the Middle.”
The concerts follow a successful Valentine’s Tour in February 2025, which brought the group to the same three cities. a1 has also made more than five visits to the Philippines, strengthening its connection with generations of Filipino fans.
A Lasting Bond With Filipino Fans
That connection has continued to grow through the years. The group’s 2023 TWENTY FIVE Anniversary Tour packed venues in Davao and Cebu before a second Manila show followed the rapid sellout of the first night.
a1 has often spoken about the warm reception it receives in the country. The group has described the welcome from Filipino audiences as one of the most memorable parts of performing in the Philippines.
