Jenny JAM unveils her 10-track debut album, Trains, Planes and Airports, blending soul, pop, jazz, and rock with stories of resilience and hope.

London-born, Los Angeles-based soul-pop artist Jenny JAM has released her debut album, Trains, Planes and Airports, a 10-track collection that transforms personal experiences into songs about heartbreak, healing, and hope.

The album draws from soul, pop, jazz, and classic rock. More importantly, Jenny wrote many of its songs while traveling, turning moments on planes, trains, and buses into musical stories.

No matter how dark the story, there’s always a positive twist. It’s about rising above whatever life throws your way.

From Pain to Empowerment

Jenny channels both vulnerability and resilience throughout the record. One of its most personal tracks, “Toy Proof,” came from her experience caring for her mother during leukemia treatment. Meanwhile, the playful, reggae-inspired “Friendzoned” took shape on a Hampstead rooftop during the Glastonbury Festival.

The album also features “Prove Who” and “Better Than You.” Jenny recorded the former at Capitol Records using Frank Sinatra’s iconic microphone. The track later appeared on a Times Square billboard and in the British gangster film Bermondsey Tales. “Better Than You,” meanwhile, explores surviving abuse and reclaiming personal power. The song reached No. 33 on the U.S. Mediabase charts and earned recognition from Earmilk and PopDust.

Grammy and Emmy Award-winning producers Herb Middleton, Ikuma Matsuda, and 5am contributed to the album, which was recorded across Los Angeles, Delaware, and Birmingham, UK.

A Global Storyteller

Jenny’s artistic influences range from Amy Winehouse and Fleetwood Mac to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Her background in musical theatre, acting, and film production also adds a cinematic quality to her music.

In addition, her career has taken her to major international stages. She performed “Eternal Love” at New York’s Freedom Tower during the 20th anniversary of 9/11, appeared at Dubai Fashion Week, and performed at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

Through Trains, Planes and Airports, Jenny turns a life spent in motion into a story of resilience. Her music ultimately encourages listeners to face hardship, find strength, and keep moving forward.
