VK Blanka’s new song “完璧のペキ” will serve as the ending theme for Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, marking a full-circle moment.

For VK Blanka, the new Dragon Ball connection feels like a full-circle moment. As a child, he woke up early to watch the anime before school. Now, decades later, his music will play after each episode.

The Japanese singer-songwriter has landed the ending theme for Dragon Ball Super: Beerus with his new song, 完璧のペキ Kan Peki No Peki. The series premieres in Japan on October 11 at 11:15 p.m. JST on Fuji TV and its nationwide network.

A Distinctive Sound for a Legendary Series

VK Blanka brings his signature style to the new track. His songwriting combines distinctive lyrics with polished melodies. At the same time, he avoids the familiar sound often associated with anime songs.

That balance allows 完璧のペキ Kan Peki No Peki to fit naturally within the “Dragon Ball” universe while retaining VK Blanka’s identity as an artist.

His career has already earned him more than 800 million total streams. In addition, he has performed at major anime events around the world. His appearances include Germany’s AnimagiC and Brazil’s Anime Friends, which draws crowds of more than 100,000.

Three Versions and Exclusive Live Footage

The single arrives on October 14 in two physical editions: CD+Blu-ray and CD-only. The CD includes three versions of the song. Fans can hear the original track, an English version, and a Phonk version.

Moreover, the Blu-ray edition features live footage from VK Blanka’s biggest tour to date, the “VK Blanka North America & Japan Tour 2025.” The footage comes from his June 24 performance at Niterra Nippon Special Ceramics Civic Hall. The release also includes a photo booklet featuring images from the same concert.

A Lifelong Connection to “Dragon Ball”

VK Blanka says the opportunity carries deep personal meaning. He grew up reading the manga and watching the anime every week. Now, he gets to contribute to the franchise through his music.

He also sees “Dragon Ball” as more than a story about power and courage. For him, the series also explores sadness, injustice, and the struggles that exist beneath its larger-than-life battles.

He poured those emotions into 完璧のペキ Kan Peki No Peki, drawing from both his childhood memories and his own musical experiences.

A Big Year Ahead for VK Blanka

The new song arrives during a busy period for VK Blanka. He begins his “VK Blanka Joyride to 10th Tour” on September 19 in Sapporo.

The tour will feature six shows across Fukuoka, Aichi, Miyagi, Osaka, and Tokyo through late October. Fans who purchase eligible merchandise during the advance sales period can also attend the show’s rehearsal. The opportunity takes place before general doors open at each venue.

Furthermore, VK Blanka will enter his 10th anniversary year in October. More collaborations and projects are already in the works, making his “Dragon Ball Super: Beerus” debut another major milestone in an already eventful year.
