7 Asian Designer Brands Your Korean Faves are Already Wearing

As K-Pop stars take the rest of the world by storm, they’re bringing along Asian fashion with them. The hottest idols are wearing the best designer brands to watch from the East.

At this point, there’s no denying that Asian designer brands are becoming an essential part of the fashion world, with K-pop stars helping bring them into the global spotlight. Not only are they now the faces of the biggest luxury brands, but they’re also sporting the best celebrity style. They constantly look good when they get spotted out and about, be it on the red carpet or just strolling down the street.

The best part is that many of them are wearing up-and-coming Asian designer brands that the West have yet to see. BLACKPINK‘s Lisa has been seen wearing MARKGONG, for instance, while TWICE’s Dahyun has worn SHUSHU/TONG in public.

Get to know these chic Asian labels before the rest of the world does!

1. MARKGONG

Mark Gong is the current darling of Chinese fashion. His shows in Shanghai Fashion Week have gone viral in recent years, both for their cool collections and creative concepts. It’s no wonder he caught the eye of top K-Pop idols who love his sexy, hyper-feminine looks.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Jennie have both worn the designer during the group’s Deadline world tour. Actress Im Jin-ah, known to most 2nd-gen K-Pop fans as Nana from After School, has also been spotted in the brand. She’s even shared that the label has grown to be one of her favorites.

2. SHUSHU/TONG

Girlhood, anime, and vintage styles come alive at SHUSHU/TONG, another emerging Chinese designer brand worth getting into. Founded in 2015 by designers Liushu Lei and Yutong Jiang, their modern twists on classic staples are simultaneously pretty and powerful. You can compare it to the girlishness Miu Miu is known for, complete with all the frills and flowing skirts.

It’s no wonder the likes of aespa’s Ninging and TWICE’s Dahyun have been spotted in the brand’s pieces. Both idols are known for their feminine styles, with the former going a little bit sexier, while the latter embracing a more vintage vibe.

3. Fancì Club

Want to join the latest club all the fashion girlies are currently raving about? Look no further than Fancì Club from Vietnam. Designer Duy Tran founded the label to answer the current demand for updating Y2K styles with a more contemporary look. He does so by offering the sexiest corsets and the chicest dresses.

Apart from all four BLACKPINK members, who are always at the forefront of discovering the next “it” brand, ILLIT’s Minju has also been seen wearing the label on stage. She famously wore a black-and-white set that matches her group’s preppy aesthetics.

4. La Lune

It seems that Y2K fashion is all the rage in Vietnam, because the country has another designer updating the aesthetic, to the delight of Korean idols. La Lune, founded by designer Quách Đắc Thắng, better known as Vicki Virus, is bringing back the provocative styles that Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera once wore back in the day.

Today’s hottest girl groups have already embraced the brand. Katseye famously wore it when they performed at the Governor’s Ball 2026 in New York City. And Vicki Virus designed the cute sailor looks for Hearts2Hearts in their “Lemon Tang” music video.

5. Bupbes

Continuing on with the sexy Y2K trend, Bupbes offers figure-hugging clothes that bring out your inner diva. Think halter tops and corsets that show off your best assets, showstopping animal prints, and the shortest cocktail dresses ready to grab attention. “Provocative” almost feels too tame a word to describe how anyone would look wearing their clothes.

Who would’ve thought, then, that the very elegant Jisoo of BLACKPINK would wear the Bupbes for her solo stage in the group’s Deadline world tour? Far from the sophisticated couture she’s been known to wear, the singer-actress looked her sexiest in the label’s Athena corset.

6. Lựu Đạn

While other Vietnamese brands are honing in on the early 2000’s look, Lựu Đạn takes it a step further. Founded by Vietnamese-American designer Hung La, the brand champions edgy, grungy, and rebellious men’s styles that both genders can embrace. Hence, everyone from Kanye West to Justin Bieber has worn their pieces.

When it comes to rebellious styles, however, none do it quite like Ateez. The group wore the brand in the promotional images for their latest hit, “Bad,” specifically San, Jongho, and Hongjoong. They certainly look like a couple of baddies in them!

7. Onitsuka Tiger

This Japanese brand has become such a staple in high fashion streetwear that it’s almost hard to imagine Korean celebrities not wearing it. Known for their sturdy denim and classic sportswear, Onitsuka Tiger combines both classic and casual styles in equal measure.

TWICE’s Momo definitely loves it enough that she signed on to be the new face of the brand. Their colorful styles and flattering silhouettes look perfect on the athletic idol, who’s also the top-charting girl group’s main dancer. Who knows? She may just step out on stage in full Onitsuka Tiger the next time you see her.
