Ashtine Olviga continues to raise excitement for her upcoming solo concert with her debut EP, Love Like Ashtine. It features six tracks with an overarching theme: love, in Ashtine’s eyes.
Before making headlines as a multi-talented actress, Ashtine started as a charming P-pop idol. Despite the shift, her first love remained evident through various covers and OSTs over the years. Now, she’s about to take center stage as a rising star in both her chosen paths.
Love and Growth
Love Like Ashtine is a reflection of Ashtine’s evolution, marking the latest chapter of her journey as an artist. Drawing on years of experience in the industry, she fearlessly takes on a new challenge with authenticity at the core of her music.
Award-winning producer Thyro Alfaro also led the production, helping the actress-singer showcase her best self throughout the project. His musical expertise, paired with Ashtine’s vocal skills and dedication, brought the EP to life.
The record begins with the upbeat self-love anthem “Hinga” then transitions to the sleek, infectious groove of “This Way.” Next comes “Enno,” another powerful track that instills the importance of boundaries in relationships. Midway through, Ashtine slows things down with intimate ballads “Nasaan Ka Na?” and “Dito Lang Tayo,” two contrasting tracks on longing and contentment. And finally, she sends everyone off with an optimistic view on love through “Love Like U.”
