The Falls graced the UK’s indie scene with remarkable momentum. They established themselves as one of Manchester’s emerging bands to watch and have performed in several venues across the UK. In February 2026, they played their biggest hometown headline show at Manchester Academy. With their following releases, we expect more bangers, including their fresh track “The Other Side.”

On Reinvention

With undeniable optimism, “The Other Side” bottles the feeling of driving with windows down and living freely. It radiates a warm, effortless, and instantly addictive energy. Speaking on the track, vocalist and lyricist Harrison Sharp says,

‘The Other Side’ was one of the first songs we ever wrote as a band and was performed at our first ever gig. It became a regular part of our live shows and was received really well by our fans. It’s a song that has always meant a lot to us as it has paved the way for where we are now and where we dream of being as a band.

Harrison adds that the timing felt perfect to reinvent the record and give it a fresh spin. They aim to show where The Falls are now and how much they have grown. He added,

The song is inspired by the idea that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. It’s about building something up in your head, be it a person or a situation achieving that dream and realizing the reality isn’t quite what you believed it would be. A call out to yourself that achieving your dreams can be as difficult as wishing for them to happen.

The band draws influence from The Courteeners, The Kooks, and Jake Bugg. They blend guitar hooks, infectious melodies, and sharp lyrical storytelling into a modern sound. Their debut EP, Viva La Falls, has garnered 100,000 streams and earned support from John Kennedy at Radio X.
