We Might Die

We Might Die deliver Iced Out, a fast, furious EP blending raw emotion, political edge, and explosive covers that channel rage into release and resistance.

Emerging punk trio We Might Die return with Iced Out, a four-track EP that delivers raw urgency, sharp political commentary, and unfiltered emotion.

The release features their recent singles “Iced Out” and “Shit Cycle.” In addition, it includes blistering covers of “GFY” and “Police Truck,” which feel more like bold declarations than simple tributes.

The band formed in 2024 and quickly built a sound rooted in personal struggle and political anger. They turn anxiety, depression, and lived experiences into explosive punk anthems. Moreover, their music aims to confront, connect, and release.

Liv Shirley leads the band on bass and vocals with fearless energy. She delivers no-filter lyrics backed by sharp hooks and relentless speed. Behind the drums, her father Chance brings nearly 25 years of experience in punk, grindcore, and metal. His aggressive style drives the band’s intensity. Meanwhile, Travis strengthens the lineup with dynamic songwriting, intricate riffs, and searing guitar leads that define their sound.

On Iced Out, the trio pushes their chemistry further. The EP sounds tight, volatile, and impossible to ignore.

This EP is loud, fast, and angry. It is pure unadulterated feminine rage. We believe change only happens when women get loud and angry.

The covers carry strong personal and political meaning. Liv recalls learning “GFY” early in the band’s journey. She first dedicated it to a classmate who made a sexist remark. Over time, she expanded that dedication to anyone expressing racism or misogyny. As a result, the track became a powerful outlet for her anger.

Similarly, their version of “Police Truck” connects to activism. The band learned it for a fundraiser supporting undocumented communities during ICE raids in Las Vegas. They donated all proceeds to mutual aid efforts. Furthermore, the song remains painfully relevant today.

Despite their recent formation, We Might Die have already built a strong live reputation. They have opened for Catbite and played the official Punk Rock Bowling Kickoff Show. With Iced Out, they cement their identity—fast, fierce, and unapologetically loud.
