Ever wish you could take something back? STARGLOW taps into that exact feeling with their second single “USOTSUKI”, a bittersweet pop track that pairs a bright, bouncing beat with the lingering regret of a love that can’t be undone.
Written by SKY-HI and produced alongside ZEN, “USOTSUKI” thrives on contrast. It pairs a refreshing, upbeat soundscape with lyrics that trace the fallout of hurting someone you love with no way back. Modern details like notifications and screen-mediated distance sharpen that sense of loss.

Meanwhile, the repeated line “Take it back” lingers like a thought that refuses to fade.
The Music Video
The music video expands this emotional core through the concept of the “butterfly effect”. Even the smallest choice can lead to a completely different future. It centers on member ADAM, the only member who joined through open auditions. Then, the visual traces a chain of decisions that ultimately lead to STARGLOW’s formation. Picking up from the final scene of their previous release, “Green Light,” ADAM looks into a butterfly-shaped opening in search of connection. This reveals parallel worlds that slowly begin to collide.
What unfolds is a striking dark-pop visual with a near painterly edge. It builds toward a performance under a star-filled sky where all five members finally come together. It captures both the weight of their journey and the clarity of their intent to stand together, shine as one, and take their music to the world.
Speaking on the release, ADAM shared that “USOTSUKI” blends a refreshing sound with the bittersweet emotions of heartbreak. He described it as a song that fits the feeling of spring. Additionally, he expressed hope that listeners will connect with it in the present moment. He also emphasized its importance to STARGLOW, noting that it could become a defining track for the group moving forward, especially as they look forward to performing it live with fans.
To mark the release, the group has launched a series of fan campaigns. This includes talk show appearances and events in Tokyo and Osaka, along with signed merchandise giveaways. Additional CD purchase campaigns will provide access to exclusive experiences such as rehearsal viewings, official send-offs, and special event invitations.
Momentum continues to build as STARGLOW lines up a packed schedule of appearances. These include ULTRA TEENS FES 2026 at Yoyogi National Stadium on March 31. They will take over Nippon Broadcasting for a full day on April 1. A live-streamed release party on YouTube is also scheduled. They will make their first appearance on Music Station DREAM LIVE Spring Special as well.
The group will then kick off their first nationwide fan meeting tour, STARGLOW 1st Fan Meeting -STAR CRUISE-, on April 10. The tour will span 17 cities across Japan.
With “USOTSUKI,” STARGLOW turns a single moment into a ripple effect, proving how fast everything can change, and how some things stay with you.
