One year after beginning their journey, STARGLOW are revisiting the moment that started it all. The five-member group has released “WISHES,” an answer song to “PIECES,” which BMSG’s THE LAST PIECE finalists performed during the audition’s final stage.
While “PIECES” captured the finalists’ hopes and uncertainty on that pivotal day, “WISHES” reflects on what happened after those dreams became reality. STARGLOW now look back on their first year together while setting their sights on what comes next.
STARGLOW Puts Its First Year Into Words
The members played a major role in shaping “WISHES.” All five contributed to the song’s lyrics and composition alongside Bad Milk, PALMR, and SKY-HI, who also worked on “PIECES.”
PALMR arranged the track, while SKY-HI and PALMR handled production. With STARGLOW involved in both the words and melody, the song reflects the relationships and memories they formed throughout their first year.
Rather than relying on elaborate expressions, “WISHES” allows the members to communicate their experiences directly. The track captures how five individuals grew into a group through shared challenges, milestones, and memories. Moreover, it carries the emotions of their first chapter while leaving room for the future.
STARGLOW also marked the release with a special anniversary celebration. On September 22, the group hosted a livestream at 9:00 p.m. JST for their one-year pre-debut anniversary. The event featured a live vocal performance and a major announcement about their next steps. At 9:30 p.m. JST, the lyric video for “WISHES” followed.
Aurora Sets the Stage for STARGLOW’s Next Chapter
Alongside “WISHES,” STARGLOW unveiled the tracklist and artwork for their debut album, Aurora, arriving November 18.
The 14-track album traces the group’s journey from the pre-debut track “Moonchaser” to their latest single, “Drivin’ My Life.” In addition, the record introduces “WISHES” and five new songs, including unit tracks.
The album will arrive in six formats. These include limited first-press editions with bonus DVD content, a standard edition, and BMSG MUSIC SHOP exclusives with a 52-page photobook and live footage from Summer Sonic 2026.
From “PIECES” to “WISHES,” STARGLOW connects the hopes of their audition days with the memories they created as a group. One year later, they are no longer wondering what comes next. They are ready to carry those wishes into a new chapter.
