XG enters their core era with their first full album, THE CORE – 核, coming this January 2026.
XG has officially announced their first full-length album titled THE CORE – 核. It’s the announcement Alphaz have been waiting for.
On October 30, the HIPHOP/R&B girl group shared an enigmatic image featuring the single character ‘核’ (core).
The post ignited fan intrigue, hinting at something powerful beneath the surface. The next day, they revealed the title of their impending global tour, XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE. The announcement made sense to fans and sparked a lot of speculation online.
Fans across Asia, North America, UK, Europe, Australia, Latin America, and beyond may now prepare for group’s release of THE CORE. The tour will begin in Japan in February 2026.
Since the release of their digital single “GALA” in September, the album has been one of the group’s most anticipated projects. It was first hinted at on August 30 during Japan’s biggest summer festival. The formal title revelation today, following weeks of silence, is a significant milestone in the countdown to XG’s new era.
THE CORE – 核 is a sonic assertion that cuts away excess to uncover the core of XG’s identity. It embodies their purest form. The album explores the core of their identity and music, telling a tale that cuts beyond genre, time, and space. It embodies the idea of X-POP, a genre that group created and defined on their own. This vision is driven by an unwavering faith in their creative abilities.
Motivated by the notion that “great music holds value in and of itself,” the album marks a daring step. It reflects group’s growth and captures the spirit at the core of their creativity as they build a boundless future.

ABOUT XG
JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA are the seven members of the hip-hop/R&B girl group. The group’s name, “XG,” which stands for “Xtraordinary Girls.” It reflects their dedication to using their boundary-pushing music and performances to empower people from all walks of life.
With their debut single, “Tippy Toes,” in March 2022. They created history by being the first Japanese musicians to top the Billboard “Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter” chart. Additionally, XG was the first Japanese girl group to appear on the U.S. Billboard magazine, reaching outstanding global achievements.
