Feel the summer vibes with Super Junior-D&E as they released their 5th mini album, 606.

Donghae and Eunhyuk, better known as Super Junior-D&E, recently released their fifth mini album, 606. The Super Junior subunit recently unveiled new music marking their first-ever comeback after departing SM Entertainment.

Super Junior-D&E shared thoughts and preparation for their newest album via Korea JoongAng Daily.



In particular, Eunhyuk said “I have great hopes for getting married and resolving problems through frequent communication, but right now, work comes first!” talking about marriage.

D&E said that they put a lot of care into creating this album since they considered it a fresh start for themselves.

“We were very happy and excited the whole time while preparing this album, especially since it’s been so long since our last release,” the duo said.

The 606 is their first music release since their full-length album “Countdown” was released in November 2021.



It features six tracks on the album, including the title track “GGB” and the pre-release track “Rose,” which was published on March 19. Super Junior-D&E claimed that the sun and moon concept, which their fans often use to symbolize the duo.

“We wanted to showcase Super Junior D&E’s day and night and our identity and colors in the album,” they said.

Furthermore, the duo is eager to share their new songs with their fans and anticipates “making music and spending time with fans in different ways, like concerts.”

“We have prepared a lot this year. This is just the start,” they said. “[The EP] is a gift to fans who have waited for new music from Super Junior-D&E for a long time.”

Super Junior D&E 606 Tracklist

“GGB”

“GGB” is a pop dance song with a summer disco vibe. It’s a fresh and unique tune, perfected with upbeat sounds and guitar rhythm. The vibes, melody, and choreography of the music video really suit Super Junior-D&E.

“ROSE”

“ROSE” is a song written and composed by Donghae. With the music video portraying the two sides of this song, Donghae tries to collect all of his thoughts, including the memories and the agony and is more on the calm side.

However, Eunhyuk seems to be going through the opposite experience and is more upset, frustrated, and emotional. Ironically, it’s a beautiful break-up song accompanied by guitar sounds. The song is about the imminent separation and the end of a relationship. Most notably, both Donghae and Enhyuk blend their voices flawlessly.

“Hang Over”

Another bop song from the duo! Donghae stated, “Let’s go all out today.” This is a hangover vibe that suggests enjoying life to the fullest without worrying about anything. D&E chose the song because they thought it was interesting and since it was a new style for them.

“Twisted”

“Twisted” is based on the Afrobeat rhythm. According to Eunhyuk, they made a great effort to deliver mature vocals, as the lyrics portray a mix of reality and dreams.

“New Balance”

The idea of venturing into the world is expressed by the term “New Balance.” The most addictive part of the song is the chorus, which combines the sweet voices of Donghae and Eunhyuk. It is exciting, fast-paced, and has a great beat. 

“Missing Pieces”

Their heavenly vocals are highlighted by the sounds of the song, which captivate and make you want to listen to it repeatedly. Even though the music feels upbeat, the lyrics tell a depressing story. It’s about acknowledging the gaps and ending a relationship with a loved one.

Moreover, since they started their own company on their own, Super Junior D&E gained a lot of experience and knowledge. They put so much effort and work into this album, so let’s all give them the love and support they deserve. This year, they have a lot planned for us.
