With the first-ever Asia Star Entertainer Awards on April 10, Yuri and Taecyeon host the inaugural awards show.
Yuri and Taecyeon have been announced as the hosts of the first Asia Star Entertainer Awards.
Kwon Yu-ri, commonly known as Yuri, is a singer, actress, and model. She is most famous as a member of the South Korean girl group Girls’ Generation. Ok Taec-yeon, mostly known as Taecyeon, is a South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He is most recognizable as the rapper of the South Korean boy band 2PM.
On February 2, it was revealed that Yuri and Taecyeon are hosts of the first Asia Star Entertainer Awards (ASEA). The awards show will be on April 10, 2024, at the K-Arena in Yokohama, Japan.
The hosts, Yuri and Taecyeon represent their groups Girls’ Generation and 2PM, respectively. Both groups are from the second generation of K-pop music that helped its popularity grow across Asia. Girls’ Generation was the first Korean girl group to achieve million-seller status in Japan during their promotion in 2012, and 2PM performed at the Tokyo Dome last year to celebrate the group’s 15th anniversary.

Asia Star Entertainer Awards details, nominees, and performers
The awards show’s organizers are NewsN and At Style (Star1), both experienced in different media platforms.
With Yuri and Taecyeon as hosts, the performers are THE BOYZ, NiziU, and STAYC, adding more star power to the upcoming awards show.
The nominees of the show are some of the most well-known artists not only across the continent of Asia but also across the world. Varying from solo artists like JISOO, JIMIN, and Lim Young-Woong to groups like TWICE, NewJeans, TREASURE, EXO, and Aespa.
