YECHAN of OMEGA X collaborates with YOONWOO of TRENDZ on the SOFA project single “Last Chance,” blending UK garage and trap to portray love’s final turning point.
YECHAN of OMEGA X and its sub-unit OX:N teamed up with YOONWOO of TRENDZ to release the digital single “Last Chance.” The track marks the third entry in the SOFA music project, an initiative led by JJ Music Group.
Unlike the fast-paced nature of today’s streaming culture, SOFA aims to create songs that encourage both artists and listeners to slow down and fully experience their emotions. Previously, the project introduced “Throwback Memories” in January, followed by “MUTED” in February. For this release, producer 지케이 (GK), a key creative force behind the project, wrote and produced the track. It shapes its overall sound and direction.
YECHAN expressed enthusiasm about the creative process, especially as he explored a fresh rap style under GK’s guidance. He also shared that the recording and filming environment felt lively. It helped the artists convey a naturally bright and engaging energy. In addition, he thanked YOONWOO for providing support throughout the collaboration, emphasizing the comfortable teamwork that defined the project’s atmosphere.

Contemporary Sound Anchored in Emotional Storytelling
“Last Chance” combines UK 2-step garage rhythms with trap influences. It results in a contemporary pop track that highlights both artists’ expressive vocals. Through its layered sound, the song portrays the uncertainty of holding on to a relationship shaped by repeated misunderstandings. At the same time, it reflects a lingering hope for reconciliation and the possibility of one final opportunity to make things right.
Meanwhile, the release arrives during an active period for OMEGA X. Earlier this year, the group successfully concluded their first European tour, RE:CONNECT, in February 2026. The tour brought them to eight cities, including Paris, Frankfurt, Berlin, Warsaw, Vienna, Budapest, Helsinki, and Milan, where they met fans known as FOR X.
Shortly after, OMEGA X held their NEW VISION concerts in Tokyo from March 27 to 29. The group will continue the series in Osaka with a three-day run scheduled from April 10 to 12. Further strengthening their connection with audiences abroad.

About YECHAN
YECHAN is a South Korean vocalist, rapper, and dancer best known as a member of the K-pop group OMEGA X. He first gained public attention in 2019 when he debuted with the project group 1THE9. Later, in June 2021, he reintroduced himself as part of OMEGA X. He continued to develop his musical identity and performance style.
In addition to music, YECHAN has steadily expanded his career into acting. In 2023, he made his acting debut alongside fellow OMEGA X member JAEHAN in the BL drama A Shoulder to Cry On. Following this, he appeared in the ENA and Genie TV series Your Honor, further showcasing his versatility as an entertainer. He also took part in the film Mad Dance Office, which premiered in theaters on March 4, 2026, marking another milestone in his growing filmography.
Meanwhile, YECHAN continues to pursue musical projects within OMEGA X. In June 2025, he debuted as part of the group’s first sub-unit, OX:N, together with JAEHAN, XEN, and JEHYUN. The unit launched its activities with the mini-album N, highlighting a different creative direction while strengthening YECHAN’s presence as both a performer and artist.
