Brace yourselves as TXT breaks its own pre-order record for their comeback album ‘The Name Chapter: Freefall.’

On Friday, September 8, BigHit Music’s rising K-pop group, Tomorrow X Together, also known as TXT, garnered a total of 2,350,000 copies in sales in the first eight days of its release.

Previously, Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai held the record for most album pre-orders with an outstanding sale of 2.34 million for their 5th mini album, The Name Chapter: Temptation.

The power that MOA (fandom name of TXT) hold is unmatched as the fandom continuously show their love and support for their idols.

TXT will be entering their new era in music with their highly anticipated comeback next month on October 13, 1 PM KST.

Additionally, the boys are going head-to-head as they compete for the nomination in the 2023 Video Music Awards for their song featuring the Jonas Brothers, “Do It Like That,” for the “Song of the Summer” category against Dua Lipa’s “Dance The Night” from the Barbie Movie Official soundtrack. TXT is also a contender for the Best K-pop category, competing against aespa, Black Pink, FIFTY FIFTY, SEVENTEEN, and Stray Kids.

In a recent post by the Jonas Brothers on X (formerly known as Twitter), they shared their excitement for their collab nomination.

Winners for the said category will be announced on the awards night when the boys are scheduled to attend. Other nominees for the title are Beyonce, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Jungkook of BTS, Taylor Swift, and Nicki Minaj Ft. Ice Spice.

The group is set to release and perform their single “Back For More” in collaboration with multi-awarded Brazilian artist Anitta on September 15. TXT’s song will premiere at the 2023 VMAs two days before its official release on music streaming platforms.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER is the artist behind the chart-topping hits “Sugar Rush Ride” and “Tinnitus (Wanna be a Rock).”
