Manchester indie-rock trio The Falls return with their high-impact new single “Open Fire,” arriving April 10, 2026 via Revo Pro. Since forming in 2023, the band have quickly built momentum across the UK music scene. They gained recognition for their energetic live shows and steadily expanding fanbase.
They have consistently sold out hometown performances in Manchester while also performing at key venues nationwide. Demand for their upcoming November headline performance at Gullivers proved just as strong. It sold out within 24 hours and prompting the addition of a second, more intimate show at The Castle Hotel.

Drawing influence from artists such as The Courteneers, The Kooks, and Jake Bugg, The Falls blend catchy guitar-driven melodies with vivid storytelling. Their debut EP Viva La Falls, released in September 2025, has already surpassed 100,000 streams. It earned early support from Radio X tastemaker John Kennedy.
With each release, the band continue to refine a sound that balances classic indie textures with modern urgency. They deliver music that feels both familiar and refreshingly immediate.

Urgent Energy and Emotional Release
Produced, mixed, and mastered by Luke Owens (SHADE, Montello, The Sprats), “Open Fire” captures the band’s dynamic intensity in under three minutes. The track bursts with explosive drums, driving bass lines, and frenetic guitars. While urgent vocals heighten the sense of tension throughout. These elements create a sonic portrayal of emotional overwhelm and the struggle to regain control when everything feels uncertain.

Vocalist and lyricist Harrison Sharp explains that the song has long been a favorite during live performances. It perfectly reflecting the band’s current direction. He describes the track as both energetic and deeply symbolic, using the idea of being “under fire” as a metaphor for pressure and instability.
Through this imagery, the band emphasize the importance of stepping back, reassessing priorities, and protecting personal well-being during chaotic moments. With its fierce momentum and relatable message, “Open Fire” reinforces The Falls’ rising presence within the UK indie-rock landscape, signaling another confident step forward in their rapidly growing career.
