Preparing for its 4th season, the MBC program Idol Radio announced that Sunwoo will be the new DJ.
Kim Sunwoo, known commonly as Sunwoo is confirmed to be the next DJ for Idol Radio Season 4. Sunwoo is a South Korean singer and main rapper of the boy group THE BOYZ.
On January 30, It has been revealed that Sunwoo will be the new DJ for the fourth season of Idol Radio. The program is still ongoing since 2018. It is about interviewing idols on their latest projects and activities.
Sunwoo will replace ATEEZ’s Hongjoong and Yunho who are the DJs of the third season.
A statement from Sunwoo regarding his new role: “I aim to be a DJ who can bring out the charm of each idol guest that fans would love to see.” Based on that, Sunwoo is happy and enthusiastic to land the hosting role.

Adding to that, Sunwoo will also host and perform at”Idol Radio Live in Yokohama” on March 26 at K-Arena Yokohama in Japan. Joining his fellow THE BOYZ members for an exciting performance at the said event.
Sunwoo will begin his DJ duties every Monday and Wednesday starting February 19 at 9 p.m. KST. Fans of THE BOYZ (The B, Deobis) and other listeners can tune in to MBC Radio’s official YouTube channel.

Sunwoo and THE BOYZ
THE BOYZ is a South Korean boy group under the entertainment company IST Entertainment, a subsidiary of Kakao Entertainment.
The group consists of eleven members. They are Sunwoo, Eric, Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, and Ju Haknyeon. The group made their debut on December 6, 2017, with the single “Boy” from the EP THE FIRST.
Meanwhile, Sunwoo’s latest activity with The Boyz is the second album, PHANTASY, headed by the song “WATCH IT.”
