Saltcan releases her second single with the title “Don’t Cry Until I…”. Three months since her last music project.
Taiwanese indie singer-songwriter Saltcan reveals her second song, “Don’t Cry Until I…“. The new song embodies the personification of the rain, aiming to provide comfort to listeners and serve as a conduit for understanding its language. It hopes that the “rain” can understand that love can communicate in other ways.
Saltcan shares her thoughts on the song:
“I am not good at comforting others, and I always feel like a person from a different dimension in such a situation, unsure if I am able to accurately convey my thoughts and feelings to the other person.”

“Don’t Cry Until I…” features percussionist Tu Che Hsin on the drums and producer Sam Yang as the bassist. They partner with Saltcan on the arrangement and production. For the creation of the lyric video of this song, Saltcan also partners with her longtime artist and friend OSO. The illustrations and drawings shown in the video are from OSO, which displays the street graffiti style.
