Alicia shares her thought process on writing the song:

“It is about wanting to leave social circles, families and even bad habits. This is a song that hits the hardest when you realise that you are stuck in a loop once again, and face that feeling of suffocation with no clue of what to do, or who to turn to for help.

She hopes that the song will serve as a motivational tool for those who often feel blamed for their sadness. She adds that this is a song that they can listen to whenever they feel those types of emotions again.

One highlight is the song’s production detail. The listener can detect different sounds in the song. From a soft verse with just vocals and keys to a crisp-sounding rhythmic vibe leading up to a sudden and more open live band sound. This is an experimental take to truly deliver the feeling of sadness and anger rising towards the end of the song.
