Shye shares her thoughts with the song:

Writing this song makes me want to fall in love too,

It was inspired by rainy day umbrella scenes from romance dramas. I hope this song can resonate with listeners whether or not they’ve already found their person. If they have, I hope it can soundtrack parts of their life and be a song that they can slow dance to. For those who are longing for a future with someone, love can seem elusive but maybe this song can help us dream about finding our own person.
