“Temporary Tragedy” is a powerful, raw and poignant bedroom pop track. She confides,
The song is about the cost of self-abandonment when you grip intimacy and what it means to choose yourself. The video’s message is universal, even though it is based on my first queer relationship: sometimes love is insufficient to close the gap between hope and reality when the other person is unable to meet you there.
