Regina Song is now part of a Times Square billboard as a part of a musical campaign by Spotify.
Singaporean singer-songwriter Regina Song is a part of Spotify’s EQUAL music campaign. With this, she is now shown in New York City’s Times Square billboard.
Regina Song is a 21-year-old Singaporean artist who is one of the most-streamed Singaporean artists on Spotify in 2024, with her single “the cutest pair” earning over 48 million streams.
The campaign is launched by Spotify in 2021 to promote and acknowledge the work of women creators around the globe. Since then, EQUAL has a spotlight on women in audio through partnerships, new content experiences, and on and off platform support.
Regina shares her thoughts:
“I’ve been dreaming of this moment forever. Now that I’m finally up on the New York Times Square Billboard, I can say I’ve visited New York!”
“So much love for Spotify, I’ll never ever forget this. Here’s to empowering women more each and every day.”
Other Singaporean artists who are also featured include Iman Fandi in 2024, Shazza in 2023, Stefanie Sun in 2022, and Jasmine Sokko in 2021.
She is also one of Spotify’s 2024 RADAR artists. Since the release of her debut album, Fangirl, she has played multiple shows in Singapore. Additionally, another achievement is her sold-out Southeast Asia tour last January 2025, which took her across major cities in the region, including Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Manila.
