Irene from Red Velvet pledges to continue by signing a contract extension with SM Entertainment.
SM Entertainment revealed that Red Velvet Irene has extended her contract with them due to her strong faith in the business. She also hopes to explore other endeavors in the future with full support from SM.
On February 7, Irene stated via her agency that she trusted SM Entertainment, who helped shape her into the person she is now. She also mentioned that she trusts the company’s employees, who have supported her since debuting with the group. Irene continued by expressing her gratitude to Red Velvet’s supporters over the years.

In response to Irene’s remarks, her agency also said that they had renegotiated a contract with Irene and Seulgi based on cooperation and mutual trust. The agency also asked for the fans’ unwavering love and support, saying that they would help Irene in many ways so that she could be a more active international artist.
Red Velvet with Chill Kill comeback
Red Velvet recently released its third full-length album, Chill Kill, demonstrating its potent worldwide influence last year. The album debuted at the top of several music charts, music broadcasts, and the iTunes Top Album Chart in 35 different countries.
Red Velvet is a popular South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment. The group debuted on August 1, 2014, with four initial members: Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy. Whereas, Yeri joined Red Velvet in March 2015. The group is known for its versatile music style, blending various genres such as pop, R&B, electronic, and funk.
Among all other K-pop groups, Red Velvet has a genuine and distinct “concept,” which has increased its fan base’s affection. Their several successful songs, including “Psycho,” “Bad Boy,” “Red Flavor,” and “Peek-A-Boo,” have made them well-known. Irene also made a name for herself as the “Original Visual.”
