Irene from Red Velvet pledges to continue by signing a contract extension with SM Entertainment.

SM Entertainment revealed that Red Velvet Irene has extended her contract with them due to her strong faith in the business. She also hopes to explore other endeavors in the future with full support from SM.

On February 7, Irene stated via her agency that she trusted SM Entertainment, who helped shape her into the person she is now. She also mentioned that she trusts the company’s employees, who have supported her since debuting with the group. Irene continued by expressing her gratitude to Red Velvet’s supporters over the years.

In response to Irene’s remarks, her agency also said that they had renegotiated a contract with Irene and Seulgi based on cooperation and mutual trust.
